Couple little things about me. I'm a toddler chaser & adventure seeker. Lover of sunsets (isn't that obvious?) I enjoy telling super corny jokes. I have no problem embarrassing myself if it gets other people laughing. I love sitting around the campfire, country music playing, beer in hand & surrounded by my favorite people.
During your family session you can expect to get both the traditional posed photos along with the fun and playful ones of your family just being themselves. When you invest in Sweet Roots Photography you are investing in gorgeous, heirloom quality portraits that will last and be passed down for generations and generations to come. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required upon booking on all portrait packages and weddings to reserve session date & time.
All sessions take place in a beautiful outdoor setting in the Twin Cities area. There is a $25 fee for locations outside of a 30 mile radius of Saint Paul, MN. These sessions include 1 outfit change (time permitting) and immediate family members only. Each additional person who is not in the immediate family is $25.
I want to create something incredible and magical with you, something the you will always remember. I'll get all of those family photos, details, the gorgeous dresses; the beauty of the day. But it is the moments and emotion of your big day that makes me love weddings. The cake will be eaten, the flowers will wilt and the music will stop but your photos will last forever.

Marissa BLEW our expectations out of the water. I had been following her for a while after someone I knew posted photos that Marissa took, and I knew then I wanted her to do my maternity photos. If you want someone who pays attention to detail, who has energy and excitement for her craft, and has your back ensuring every single shot she takes shows off your best angle also making sure your poses are on point - this is your gal! My husband and I have had Sweet Roots do pictures with our little one and they've turned out so great! They've lasted forever on my computer background at work. She does phenomenal work and knows how to work with little ones as if they were her own. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking to have family photos done!
