John R. Chait was born in Cleveland in 1958. He moved to Sarasota in 1973, and graduated from Riverview High School in 1976. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Manatee Community College, John graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Chait's chiropractic practice specializes in postural chiropractic care, and he is certified in the Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) technique.
When I first came to see Dr. John, I had chronic pain and stiffness in my neck and upper back. The pain and numbness had moved into my arm. The cause of my symptoms was from a condition called Forward Head Posture, degenerative over a long period of time. Since I have been treating with Dr. John the pain has decreased.

Dr. Chait is trained in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology. He was educated by the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Graduates of this program have received the most in-depth, science-based training available today. The program covers the entire spectrum from the physics of auto accidents to human biomechanics to diagnostics and management.
Chait Chiropractic Center has a strong presence in the community and is looking for more opportunities to partner with wellness and health-focused initiatives. Dr. Chait has supported me through a half a full Ironman competition - and through 60 hour work weeks. Can't say enough good things about this clinic. Best chiropractor I've ever been to. Is actually FIXING my neck and scoliosis and saw HUGE results very quickly. I came in with severe back pain, falling down all the time, and within a couple of weeks I had no more pain. They are upfront about all costs, time needed for improvements, and treat you like family. I am enjoying this christmas season and every day so much more than I can remember.
I believe this to be because I am out of the mind numbing and soul robbing neck pain I have suffered with for over 30 years.
I had all but given up that I would ever free myself from this pain..

I’ve been going to Dr. Chait’s practice for the past several years. He has helped me immensely with my neck and back issues. Last week I went in with a lot of pain in my lower back. My pain level was at a 5 out of 10. As soon as Dr. Chait adjusted me, I felt much better and my pain went from a 5 to a 1. I was truly surprised about that level of of improvement.

Dr. Chait, Cindy, and their entire staff are simply the best. I have been to many chiropractors over the years and most are able to provide temporary relief, but nothing long term. Dr. Chait was able to identify why my back was hurting, explain it to me clearly and concisely, and prescribe a plan of action that ultimately led to the issue being resolved and feeling better than I have in years. They are great at what they do, but they are also wonderful people that are so down to earth and very personable. I HIGHLY recommend Chait Chiropractic!

Love Dr Chait and his office staff. It's such a welcoming environment and they're so committed to helping you relieve back pain while correcting your posture for long term.
I didn't feel like this was a crack a back processing center, but a recovery facility with personalized care specific to what I needed.
Highly recommended if you have any back pain or want to correct your posture bc it will eventually catch up to you.

I am SO grateful for Dr. Chait's wonderful staff and his conscientious approach to chiropractic! He is methodical and patient, and includes many different exercises in order to assist in the fastest healing possible. Kelly and Cindy were both fabulous and friendly. Dr. Chait truly cares about his patients' posture well-being. Through continued high-tech assessment, I can see where I am compared to where I was when I first started with his practice. I still have a ways to go but am much better. "Text neck" and computer work is so damaging, if we allow it to be. Dr. Chait's wife Cindy is great about reminding… me that it's time for a visit plus her bubbly personality makes you want to stop in just for a feel good chat. The doctor combines chiropractic with physical therapy/traction (thank you Kelly) to further one's progress. What a difference that makes

After double total knee replacement I had back issues that I had never experienced before. Through weekly adjustments and a specific exercise routine, I can honestly say I am pain free once again. Now I go for maintenance adjustments, traction and posture correction. The office staff are friendly and extremely competent as well. Overall a very positive experience.

I am down from NY for the month and need a simple neck adjustment. They were cagey on the phone about the price. So I went and they took photos of me to see my misalignment. Insisted I need X-rays to get adjusted. Total bill $135. What a racket. I go to a chiropractor every week at home and just need my neck cracked. Not for that price! No wonder they wouldn't tell me how much over the phone. What a waste of my time. Hopefully I can find a reasonably priced chiropractor before I go home. This one certainly isn't!

Eighteen years ago I moved to Sarasota, FL. About 3 months after my move I severely injured my back. I opened up the yellow pages and he was the only one who would see me right away despite not being an active patient of his. So grateful, I literally crawled into his office. After a completely "no pain" manipulation, I literally walked out of his office and I continue to return at this moment in time for "maintenance visits" only. No more acute flare-ups!
