Services
At Crutchfield Dental Group, we realize that having any procedure can be stressful. Our desire is to have your treatment progress as smoothly as possible. These instructions provide some general guidelines with regards to pre and post-operative care; your doctor may give you additional instructions as well.
Do not disturb the wound. Sutures were placed and will dissolve in 3-10 days. Some bleeding or redness in the saliva is normal for 24 hours. Excessive bleeding can be controlled by placing a gauze pad on the surgical site and biting down firmly. Continue pressure for 30 minutes. If bleeding continues, place a moist tea bag over the surgical site for 30 minutes, (the tannic acid in the tea helps to form a clot).
The first step is an examination and consultation with Dr. Crutchfield to determine whether or not you are a candidate for implant treatment. This usually involves x-rays and may include taking impressions for models of your teeth. During the examination, we will be evaluating the area(s) of your mouth where teeth are missing and the type of replacement teeth that will best meet your needs.

I’ve only had positive experiences in my time at Crutchfield DentaI. I’ve already recommended them to many of my friends and colleagues. I love that it’s a family business because they take pride in providing excellent service. They’re thorough but efficient, and all of my appointments have started and ended on-time (which is very important because I usually schedule my appointments during the workday). The staff is friendly and the office is beautiful. Not much more you can ask for.

Highly recommend! Professional and friendly staff, state of the art/clean/modern office. Dr. Crutchfield (Carlsie) was extremely thorough, answered all of my questions, didn’t rush through the appointment, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She did my cleaning, not a hygienist, which was fantastic. I have never laughed so much at a dentist appointment. Looking forward to my next visit!

My family had a really great experience here! Husband and wife team that were fantastic with both my kids & me. This was my first visit to Crutchfield Dental. I am switching dentists and was nervous. The whole team at Crutchfield was great. From the front staff members to the doctors! I felt welcomed and well informed. They are very thorough and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my visit and looking forward to the next one in 6 months.
