While sons Joe (a naval aviator in the pacific theater) and Al (an Army veteran of the battle of the bulge) were fighting for our freedom Jake continued to run the company.When returning home Joe & Al decided to head north to the Hudson Valley. J&A was easy to work with, price competitive, and used high quality materials and professional workmanship. The did everything they said they would do. The process was well documented and they were always available to answer questions. This was our first new roof in 25 years, and glad we called J&A to take us another 25. They also cleaned up and left the property just as they found it.

I hired J&A to re-shingle my house in Boiceville. After my preliminary email inquiry, they immediately drove out to the house to measure and have an estimate ready -- which was in line with my expectations. I dealt with Fred, a co-owner, who was prompt and clear in all communications, email and phone, and we scheduled the job very quickly. The crew's work was even harder than anticipated because after removing the existing shingles, there was no plywood underneath, which meant they had to add on 52 sheets of 1/2 ply before proceeding to the shingles.
