Roberts Funeral Home is comprised of family and friends who strive to provide everyone with professional service in a personal manner. We are Wellsville's ONLY hometown owned and family operated funeral home. We at Roberts Funeral Home feel that there is a genuine commitment to service when a business is independently owned and operated by a family who resides in the community and strives to give back to their community.

This also allows people to place their trust in someone whom they know personally. We value and treasure that trust. The families appreciate the presence and availability of the hometown owners. It allows us to personally be available 24 hours a day for all of your needs. We continually endeavor to improve all aspects of our funeral home.
Services
The Roberts Funeral Home has been family owned and operated since 1972. Previously the Haugh Funeral Home (1880 -1973), we have been at our location at 631 Main Street since 1924. The funeral home was operated by first generation funeral directors, Bill and June Roberts, for 18 years before they turned it over to their son, Bill, in 1990.
Roberts Funeral Home was built in 1905 by a general contractor for his own family. The building was purchased by the Haugh Brothers in 1924. All of the original hardwood was hand-carved. Although our facilities have been updated over the years, we strive to keep the decor true to the era of the building.
Family and friends getting together to honor a loved one's life is one of the most important steps in the grieving and healing process. You may opt to have a traditional religious or military service, or as more and more people are doing, you can choose to have a non-traditional 'life celebration'.
No matter if a death is sudden, or if it is something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. No amount of preparation can fully prepare you for the loss of a loved one. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering.
Traditionally, a burial service involves a visitation, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home, in a church, or other place of worship. The casket is typically present at both these events, and it is your decision on whether to have the casket open or not. You have the option of having the remains interred (earth burial), or it may be entombed in a crypt inside a mausoleum (above ground burial).

Our family is thankful for the wonderful services provided during our loss. This is a family run business that put my family’s needs and desires first. They were very accommodating and flexible with our needs and requests. I couldn’t have asked for a better family to deal with considering our family’s loss. No detail was overlooked and I’m truly thankful that the final tributes and memories of our daughter were handled by Roberts.
