Don't got if they're even a little busy. Waited patiently for over an hour on a Saturday morning. When agroups that came in after us started getting served, my brother talked to the cook/owner to make sure we hadn't been forgotten. She was rude, to say the least. We were told by someone else that our food "was being plated".

My family had a wonderful experience at The Garden Spot Cafe in Caldwell, TX today! Thanks to our daughter-n-love Candy for finding this delightful place for us to meet close to halfway between Granbury & Sweeny. The service was excellent, accommodating, & very friendly; the food was delicious; they’re supportive of Jesus, the Military, First Responders & the 2nd Amendment; and the premises were clean & inviting. Worth going out of your way to enjoy this Caldwell treasure.

I would give this place a 5 star. But the waitress was rude as all get out. But we talked with the owner and I guess head cook. She was wonderful to be around and such a pleasant attitude. I had the tri tip sandwich and omg it was great. Wife had the turkey and dressing and I was great. Will come back.

Wow! Homemade biscuits that would make any southern woman proud! I love that she puts the gravy on the side so you don't make a mess or they get soggy. Bacon was perfectly crispy without being burnt. Fresh grated hash browns with just the perfect mixture of crisp pieces with fluffy shreds. FANTASTIC FRESH salads!! I adore the chicken & strawberry salad!She give you plenty of And customer service to boot!

I have to say I was pleasantly pleased with our choice for breakfast this morning. The waitress was very friendly and the food I have to say was delicious!! It's hard to find a really good spot for breakfast with the perfect omelette but they will not disappoint. Huge menu to choose from as well. We will definitely be back!!

I hardly ever leave a review but this place honestly deserves it! Great friendly respectable staff, a very at home feel, and a variety of food to choose from. Being packed during lunch our food still came out quick, the staff worked together so well to ensure everyone was more than satisfied. Next time I drive through this small town I will definitely stop again!
Also the staff was greatly appreciative and supportive of all Law Enforcement, First Responders, and Military.

This place is a gem!!!! Everything homemade. What else can you ask for. The pot roast open face sandwich was on a fresh artisan bread, the meat was perfectly seasoned and the mash potatoes were clearly fresh and homemade. My son ate 2 yep 2 of their breakfast plates. The tri-tip omelet was the best omelet either of us have tasted. This place is family owned and it shows by the amount of care they give to their food and to their clients!
