Services
Dr. Mark Burdorf graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1987. He has diplomate status with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and is a member in good standing with the ACA council of neurology since 1995. He is one of only Seven Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologists in Arizona.
There is no charge for an initial new patient consultation. This is your opportunity to meet Dr. Burdorf at his Scottsdale office. Dr. Burdorf is affiliated with the picture archived computer systems, (PACS) of Scottsdale Medical Imaging, (SMIL), Simon Med and Insight. Quick access to your prior diagnostic studies and the ability to refer you for new imaging, if necessary, saves our patients money and time.
Functional independence by the definition of health and welfare standards of insurance companies and hospital rehabilitation facilities is the assessment of the severity of patient's disability. The assessment is used to track changes in functional ability of the patient during an episode of rehabilitation care.
Our practice is Out-of-Network with all insurance companies, and Dr. Burdorf is a non-participating provider with Medicare. Our practice offers for new patient a Six-Week Neuro Rehabilitation Plan for migraine, vertigo, movement disorders, soft-tissue and pain related conditions. This plan requires prepayment.
The table above shows the reference ranges for age, healthy balance and percentage loss of stability. Balance issues can occur at any age. You are a statistical risk of falling and seriously injuring yourself if your results are anything other than a Healthy Balance Score. A comprehensive neurological examination and additional diagnostic testing is advised.

Mark helped me recover from a TBI/concussion and demonstrated a immense expertise in this area. Along the way he was dynamic, some things worked at the start, than not, so he adapted and adjusted. Beyond healing he is a big believer in maintenance and he sets you up so it’s on you and you don’t have to see him 100 times a year...but if you don’t listen and do what he reccomends at home....you will go back more often :). Greatful for his help and now a believer in wellness practice vs sickness reactivness.

I was in pain for a month before booking an appointment with Dr. Burdorf. After the 1st session the pressure and sharp pain in my lower back went from a constant 9 to a dull 4 or 5. Within 2 sessions I saw dramatic results and felt so much better. I would highly recommend Dr. Burdorf to any body suffering from back or neck pain.
