Assessment that may include gathering of information through interview, observation, examination that allows a dentist to diagnose existing conditions. Comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs.
A pulpotomy treatment is necessary when the pulp chamber in the center of a baby tooth becomes infected. This can occur if the tooth has untreated tooth decay and where the decay gets close to the pulp chamber or even penetrates it. When this occurs, the tissue in the pulp chamber will become irritated and inflamed and it's likely your child will have toothache.
Our pediatric dentists will do everything possible to save baby teeth from extraction but sometimes it may be necessary to remove a tooth. This could be due to dental trauma or disease, or as part of orthodontic treatment. While we do our best to save baby teeth, our primary concern is to ensure the adult tooth which is forming underneath the baby tooth is not damaged in any way.
If your child has a cavity then it is important to remove the area of tooth decay and to fill the tooth as soon as possible. This prevents the tooth decay from spreading further and the filing seals out bacteria, preventing the tooth from becoming re-infected. Amalgam is an extremely strong and reliable filling material and it has been successfully used for more than 100 years.

Called the office just now to see if they had a pediatric dentist that was able to perform a procedure on my son. The girl who answered the phone told me to Hold on and call my insurance. She never even asked me what insurance I had. I asked can I give you my insurance information, so you can tell me if you even accept my insurance, she hung up the phone. Very sad. The practice just lost a patient and potential ones. Very disturbing how these offices hire unprofessional people. Quite a shame.

I am so blessed that my children and I have Pediatric Dental Health Center in Cliffside Park for my children’s dental care. Each and every visit is exceptional. From the reception arrival and check in, Natalya and her colleagues are always so sweet, kind, courteous as well as professional. I appreciate the reminder emails, postcards and texts because life gets busy and your office always ensures that you remind us of our scheduled appointments. I feel safe bringing my children because this office exceeds CDC guidelines as well as protocols in ensuring the safety of their patients as well as staff

We went there for an initial dental check up appointment for our 21mo toddler. I am 7mos pregnant! And my daughter freaks out on scrubs and with mask! I asked them if i can bring my husband along with me inside at least for a consideration coz im pregnant! And they were telling me it was emphasized over the phone! Which they didnt say prior!!! My tummy is so huge already and there was no guarantee they will be able to pacify or at least able to ask my daughter to open her mouth and she might kick me in the belly. I understand the covid issue. But at least give a consideration this time! The room

It was our first visit today, and I am so grateful of everyone here! My son had a severe toothache from cavity, and had to go see the dentist immediately. I literally called 10 offices today, but othe places either had no spot until a week later, or didn't accept our insurance. Thank you to whoever accepted my call, she initially gave me a spot like a week later, but after I explained my son's situation, she was kind enough to check with the doctor if my son can be seen today. I called this dental practice today after seeing the good rating in my insurers website. Unfortunately I spoke to an appalling receptionist. She was RUDE and IMPATIENT. Came here to check the reviews as i thought maybe it must just be a bad day for her, but the reviews show that it is nothing new. The receptionist here is Rude. No one wants to deal with a rude receptionist when there are options out there. A pity the Dentist has such good reviews and will lose clients because of a bad receptionist. Taking my business elsewhere. This attitude is not new and it's sad the practice has done nothing

Dr. Stillman has taken care of my children for quite a few years. He and his staff were phenomenal with them. Unfortunately we recently moved away and we are truly feeling the lost already. I will always recommend his office to anyone who wants the best care and treatment for their children. They will gove mommy and daddy advice and try hard to make your children’s visit an easy going visit. We will miss this team!!

AMAZING! I am truly amazed by Dr. Stillman and his staff on how they handle my 15 yr old autistic son. After visiting countless Dentists over the yrs, he is by far the best I've ever seen. He has a surefire method and truly understands my sons needs.He is fast and efficient. He explains his course of action to help the parents feel at ease. He… starts off slow with my son and each time does a little more which is not only genius, it is extemely successful. It is worth the hour we travel to see him! I only wish we had found him sooner.
