Bought a 2017 Kia Optima and the DARCARS package. I had all my service work done through them as well. They completely missed a serious problem with my engine despite noticing an issue during my last oil change, and did not follow up appropriately. Now I have a 4yo car that I will likely have to get rid of and eat the cost since I am just over warrantly miles. Customer service was less than helpful as they would not cover the cost of a rental car or provide a loaner to give me a reasonable option of having the problem serviced, which would likely take weeks. Never buying a KIA again.

I am currently in the process of suing them. I had a recall on my engine and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it unless my car broke down, the engine starts knocking and/or my engine starts smoking. Basically had to be in danger. Well my car did catch smoke, and I got it towed to Kia. They LIED and said my car had oil and it had absolutely none!!! I still had over $1000 miles left before I got a oil change!!! There is something wrong with the engine!!!!!!!!!! No one is helping me, so I am getting my lawyer involved because I spent way to much money getting it fixed when the recall

I called to service department for the 2017 kia, optima recall for check engine lights, the engine will cut off after the light show up 2 days ago, I ask if I can take it to the dealer to get the service, I was tald the appointment will be end of October, which is I have to wait one month.

I just bought my Kia Telluride at the DARCARS in Lanham! It was such a great experience I don't think I will ever go to another company again! They were so professional and helped me decide on what to get and I felt like I was with family! The GM, Sam, was amazing and was explaining even more than I asked and wanted to make sure I was happy with what I was getting. Other dealerships I have been to are always so pushy, but not this one. I visited Darcars Lanham Kia 11 months ago and the service has definitely declined since my recent visit. I understand that we are still in the covid pandemic and that impacts everything so I try not to give harsh reviews accordingly. First, I had an 11:15 am appointment (and I arrived early) for routine maintenance and was told immediately that it would be around 2:30 pm before my car was ready; I actually did not leave until after 3 pm. Where do I begin with this place? I had an appointment for 2pm on a Monday. Around 12:30, I get a call saying that I need to bring my car in the morning in order to have an electrical diagnostic done. The sentiment was essentially that this can never be done in the afternoon. Why would someone wait until it was so close to my appointment to tell me that? I traded my car in back in May. Everything was great at first - they were all kind, professional, and worked really hard to get me a loan with terms I could afford.
As soon as I left the lot with my new car, it all went down hill.
These people NEVER filed the paperwork - none of it. They didn't take care of the loan from the car I sold them as they were supposed to; they didn't file paperwork with the DMV; they didn't do anything they were supposed to do to complete the transaction. What they did do was take my old car, turn around and sell

Bought my vehicle here over a year ago. It was easily the least stressful experience I have had with a dealership and the staff pulls out all the stops to make sure you are taken care of and happy. I go out of my way to make sure my vehicle is serviced here as well. Same applies, the staff honestly cares about the customer. Service is a priority for DARCARS. Highly recommend.

These guys are awesome! I was in the market specifically for a 2017-18 Ford Focus ST. I had looked around at a few dealers and found one at a Ford dealer in Falls Church, VA. The vehicle was listed with a starting price 2k less than any dealer within 300 miles.
I was pre approved with my bank with a rate of 3%. To the best of my knowledge..that's a solid rate. My original plan was to buy a custom ordered Ford Raptor because I wanted it built a very specific way. I've bought 2 Kias from Kia Lanham-- a 2011 Optima EX and a 2014 Sorento SXL. The cars are great; yet like many Kia dealerships, the buying experience has been a letdown time and time again.
This particular dealer has really revamped the actual building and it looks a lot nicer inside than previous years. They have a decent inventory selection as well. The issue with this dealership is 1) not valuing customer loyalty and 2) poor, inconsistent management.
I came to buy my 3rd Kia, a fully-loaded Kia Stinger GT2. The sales rep seemed new and very untrained; his e-mails were not very professional
