Emanuel Lutheran Church
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We are a Christian congregation that is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and have been in Milbank since 1889. Jesus Christ is at the center of all that we do. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Emanuel Lutheran shares the love of God the Father, by proclaiming the Gospel of Our Savior, Jesus Christ, with the help of the Holy Spirit, showing love for all people, lending a helping hand to those in need, and equipping God's people for ministry.
Services
The focus in each worship service is on the good news--the Gospel. The Gospel is the story of how God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to redeem a sinful world by giving his life on the cross. Through readings from the Bible, the sermon, music and singing, the powerful truth of God's never failing love is applied to our life and we, the forgiven, are empowered by the Holy Spirit for living our lives with praise and thanksgiving.
Emanuel Lutheran Church sponsors and supports a Christian Preschool for children, ages three and four. Organized preschool activities help the children develop the basic skills for kindergarten. Daily activities include Bible story time, as well as singing and growth in the Christian faith. Jesus Christ is at the heart of every classroom activity.
Christian Stewardship is the free and joyous activity of the child of God and God's family, the church, in managing all of life & life's resources for God's purposes. Each of us is called to worship God with our entire life, including our time, talents, and resources. Sharing those resources is an important way to worship the Giver of all good things.
