The Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu Academy of Coralville opened its doors in April of 2008. Since its opening, regular classes have been held as well as a number of workshops put on both independently and in conjunction with the Iowa City Kung Fu Academy.
In its first month of operation, the Coralville branch was honored to have Sigung Robert "Moy Yat Tung" Squatrito visit and put on a workshop, and within a year of operation the school was further honored by a workshop and visit from Grandmaster Moy Tung.We are proud to be a member of a nationwide organization of Moy Yat and Moy Tung Kung Fu Schools.

Services
Every generation of Kung Fu masters has an abundance of stories and personalities. What follows is by no means an exhaustive or complete history of Ving Tsun Kung Fu. Rather it is an outline of the roots from which our Kung Fu draws its strength. Such a simple outline cannot hope to contain the complete history of the Ving Tsun System.
The Coralville Academy offers Children's Kung Fu Classes Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-7pm. Boys and girls up to 12 years of age are encouraged to attend a FREE WEEK of introductory classes (children 13 and older should consider attending general classes with adults). Ving Tsun Kung Fu is a remarkably simple and effective system.

Ive been a student for a month or so now. The amount of knowledge i have learned from just this short amount of time, is amazing. I have tried to learn other martial arts. And while yes, i do love doing those, Wing Chun has me spelled bound.
Sifu (Andrew) is an amazing teacher. Hes calm, collected and seems to know how to get the lesson to hit… home with out me getting too frustrated with myself.
yet, challenging me to learn more and perfect what i do know.
I so wish i had known of this place sooner.
