Services
Every patient undergoes a detailed physical and neurological examination. This allows our doctors to understand what is going on in your body and how to address it. After the examination, you will have an opportunity to review the results with your doctor and explain what is contributing to your symptoms.
Last year I was in a car accident, but it was only a minor fender-bender. I was fine for a few months but I noticed my vision started getting blurry and I was getting weird dizziness spells and headaches. After one particular bad spell I decided to seek some help. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Minh.
In the past I have always resorted to medications to get rid of my chronic headaches. After being treated by Dr. Minh Tran they completely went away and I stopped taking medications. He tries his best to find the root of the problem rather than just prescribing something you don't need. Cervicogenic headaches are usually a referred pain coming from the neck.
I have seen Dr. Minh for 2 years for both ADHD and scoliosis chiropractic work. He knows so much about so many things and is always eager to share his knowledge with you.bring your "This weird thing keeps happening" questions and he'll probably have some insight into why it is happening and if not, he'll do research and let you know.

Dr. Minh and Joey are extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I came in after having a major fall that led to a concussion. I had brain fog, difficulty speaking and I wasn't able to drive more than 30 minutes without falling asleep.
Being an overachiever, it was extremely frustrating to have my brain run slower than what I was used to. I really didn't know what to do or if I could be helped until I went to NorCal Brain Center. My son was 5 when we started treatments with Norcal Brain Center. He has severe ADHD, and I suspected ODD as well. We did traditional therapy through our insurance and were still having major problems at home and school. Since our treatment with Dr. Minh and Dr. Joey he is a new kid. Many thanks to Dr. Minh Tran and Dr. Joey for helping my father out with his treatment following the onset of sudden seizures. My family was very scared because we no idea what the root cause of his seizures were but Dr. Minh performed many tests and was able to work out a treatment plan for my father. Helped with a concussion I had back in 2018 that persisted for years. Conventional concussion treatment I received at Kaiser was outdated and ineffective. Dr. Minh and Dr. Joey were my last-ditch effort at being able to treat my issue. After months of trying to go at it alone I still had frequent symptoms and had to put halts on many facets of my life. After a short few months at NorCal Brain Center I can say I'm pretty much 100% after previously believing that 70% would take many years.

I had a nasty concussion in February of 2021. I lived in misery for 5 months without a diagnosis, I had struggled to find anyone who could help me. 3 primary care doctors, 1 neurologist, and 2 ENT later, I found Dr. Tran and his wonderful staff. They have been empathetic, understanding and patient. I know at times I can be demanding and stubborn, but this staff and Dr. Tran truly care. This place is like no other. NotCal Brain Center has been instrumental in helping my son recover from multiple concussions. The neurologists here, who are both extremely professional as well as competent and empathetic, take a functional medicine approach and have many more tools in their toolkit compared to the Stanford Concussion Clinic, which offers very little treatment to advance healing. NorCal Brain Center is a place of true healing and I can't recommend these compassionate experts highly enough. A friend of mine recommended me to see Dr. Minh for vestibular therapy. At that time I had debilitating vertigo, and balance issues. Through his novel therapies he helped me become functional again. I have been seeing him regularly since then. Moreover Dr. Minh helps me with the spine adjustments that relieve my headaches. He is a very kind person who really listens and cares about his patiens, and always tries to help. His staff is friendly and always replies to messages quickly. I have been going to Doctor Minh Tran since April 2019 from my anoxic brain injury from a drug overdose. I have been trying to find way to rehabilitate my brain back to pre injury working shape, and Doctor Minh is beyond knowledgeable in his field of Chiropractic Neurology. Gimmicky and expensive. This doctor will run bunch of unnecessary test for you because he isn't a specialist in headaches. He isn't prescribe me the correct vitamins , he is only more or less a nutrient. He isn't specialized in the brain nutrient and he gave me the wrong magnesium which has not been in trials.
After I saw a real neurologist and headache specialist from Stanford, I have been put on the right solution.
Just take a quick look at his education , he isn't a real neurologist.

Dr. Minh Tran is a super sharp and caring practitioner. He helped me figure out problems in one visit that I had seen multiple doctors about. For years I suffered lightheadedness and occasional dizziness, not realizing I had vestibular dysfunction. This was later confirmed at Stanford who was my in-network provider, but the treatment I received from Dr. Tran largely took care of the issues, and at a fraction of the cost. I came in to see Dr. Minh with some migraines and balance issues and after just a couple of sessions, I noticed that I was improving! He is very knowledgeable in functional neurology and has some of the highest quality equipment in the field. His explanations are very thorough and he was very patient with all my questions.
