For a gated community though, it is lacking appropriate security and speed mitigation. In the past few weeks I have degraded the three star status to one star status simply because this complex has had negative change. Unabated noisemakers, questionable activities taking place in the parking lots, glass bottles at the pool, non residents swimming at the pool. After being a loyal resident for the past two years we are looking elsewhere to reside for the safety and wellbeing of my family.

Just like Natalie stated in her review, I never received anything from the apartment complex regarding any fees owed. 3 years later, I apply for an apartment and noticed Vista Ridge placed a balance on my final move.
Thanks for responding.... But I know what the property manager told me before I moved out. It’s just weird I moved out the end of August and management created the lease break agreement in December and failed to notify me of charges.

I have been living here for around 3 or 4 months now and there are some problems that I feel need to be addressed.
1) security. I feel that if there is a gate, it should be used and monitored. There is a lot of traffic that comes through and sometimes it is a disturbance to the residents. Especially when they are playing loud music and we are trying to sleep.
2) parking. Point number 1 really is the reason this is now a problem. There are a crazy amount of non residents that come and stay EVERY night and it takes parking from the residents who pay to live here. For the price I'm paying every

I applied for an apartment there back in 2017. I gave them $250.00 for a deposit. Waited three weeks to even see if I got appoved. it so happened I didn't get the apartment and then asked for my deposit back. The asst. Manger said they would mail me a check..I waited and waited. I called only to have the property manager tell me I lost the deposit because they didn't approve me for an apartment and they could have rented the apartment to someone else. So therefore they kept the money due to loss of rental. Don't give them a deposit.

As current residents, almost 3 years, we loved the place when we moved in. Since then the security of the complex has been sub par and almost non existent. The removed speed bump, that had deterred speeding, is now gone. And with the entrance gates ALWAYS being "broken" has allowed speeding throughout. Speeding, loud music, questionable activity in the parking lots, cars being broken into and pool rules not enforced have made this place feel unsafe and unstable! Notice to enter your apartment is mandatory and they NEVER give you a 24 hour notice. The new management(corporate) lady has also made

Rented for about 6 months and paid rent on time every month via online apartment portal. When I moved out I left my forwarding address along with email and cell. 2 months later I receive a collection notice. Reached out and they claim a letter was sent in the mail which I never received. I asked why they didn't bother to call me, email me, send via the portal like every other bill I received OR even send more than one notice before sending to collections. The response was it was corporate who manages the account after I move out and they have nothing to do with it. From what I've read this is common

I lived at Vista Ridge for six years and during that time I really liked the apartments, the management team there on site and the maintenance man - he is fantastic. I would probably give them four or five stars if not for the Management Company out of Dallas, Sunridge Management Group, which had bought the property only weeks before the tornado in Tupelo (more on that), They are horrific and will try to find every chance possible to make your stay there miserable. And the great staff on-site then has to deal with the repercussions.

I stayed at this apartment complex and so did a friend of mine. We had loud neighbors and the staff their are pathological liars. My friend and I went through hell. We bought got kicked out and had some of our merchandise stolen by the staff members. The manager mother was paying our rent until we were able to do so ourselves. So in Nov. they had my lights turned off and relocated to another apartment without my permission and on top of that they didn't try to contact me. They lied as if they did but they didn't and again the manager mother was paying our rent. So in Jan, they had the constable
