We are on a mission to improve the health of our patients, so they can live their lives to the fullest for the longest time possible. We enjoy getting to know each patient and want to partner with them to restore and maintain their health for a lifetime. Dr. Kunz established the practice in 2006 after moving back to Omaha.
I was born and raised in Omaha. I received my Exercise Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My education, as well as my passion for health and exercise, has helped me develop into the worker I am today. I love my 'job' at Kunz Chiropractic! Interacting with the patients, and learning about their families, is the best part of the job.
In my junior year of high school, we had to do a research paper on a career path. The only thing that came to mind was my uncle, so I decided on chiropractic for my project. While researching, I discovered that chiropractic is a natural way to stay healthy. After HS, I enrolled at UNO - the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Chiropractic is designed around keeping your Central Nervous System (CNS) healthy. When there's a problem with your CNS, such as a misalignment, communication between the spine and the brain is blocked. Our job is to identify joint misalignments, specifically in the spine. We assess the joint to see if it's moving correctly.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kunz since July of 2019, after throwing my back out. I was told I’d be ok to stop when I felt comfortable, but I literally don’t want to. The adjustments every two weeks have greatly increased my ability to exercise and keep up with my family of 6! Also, probably the most amazing receptionist ever!

Absolutely the best chiropractor out there. Kurt is fantastic & friendly & Danielle is lovely & helpful. I get to get adjusted & chat with wonderful people every time. They are so flexible with scheduling & always gracious & kind when I forget my appointments (which is almost always!) Very affordable & understanding of financial concerns. Dr. Kunz is by far the best chiropractic provider I've seen. His office is easy to find, services are thorough and affordable, and he seems to genuinely care about you as a whole person. He also has great flexibility for those times you are hurting and need help, often being able to get you in on the same day with little issue. He's also comfortable working with MANY issues and will not make you feel ashamed or embarrassed. He just wants to help! His wife is awesome too, making for a friendly and welcoming place.
