An Outstanding Optometrist which values your time and provides you with suggestions. Dr. Ratty lets YOU decide how you to want to spend your money. They also have fantastic customer service and really care about their customers. My fiancé had an eye emergency and she was able to get in to have him look at her within the same hour, even though it was past closing time. You just can't find places with that kind if service any more these days.

Where do I start...I've never have submitted a review in my life however today I will...ive been coming to this office for close to 20 years and Everytime I do, I drop at least a thousand dollars. After this last visit I paid in full and my wife and I got out of there under a grand ...we tually celebrated that fact..upon picking up the glasses the girl helping my wife informed her that she owed 100 more dollars! How does that work! She said they messed up on the math! Well! That's your fault! Eventually they dropped the issue..the conversations I had with the office and the unprofessional ladies

My kids and I had an awesome experience we got Saturday appointment that fitted well with my work schedule !! Everyone was so kind and helpful in getting all that my insurance had to offer?? I was able to get nice name brand glasses for my two kids and I for no out of pocket cost which was a plus!!! I recommend this optometrist they have great service and their frames to chose from are supper cute and fancy!!

The optometrist is fine. When we came back to pick up my daughter's glasses they make you wait until everyone else is done shopping or trying on their frames and then place their order. So after waiting 20 minutes to simply pick up my glasses I asked if I could simply take them. She told me no that I MUST wait my turn and I could NOT simply pick up glasses. Not to mention the script was exactly same as the Stanton Eyewear. Save your time and money and just go there.

I was in a pinch and needed to be seen and done within an hour. Not only did they see me, prescribe me glasses, and complete all the paperwork I needed done within 45 minutes, they allowed me to leave and come back to pick out my frames. Everyone was extremely professional, polite, and understanding. I am definitely happy with my visit and extremely fortunate that I decided to go there. I will definitely be going back for any future optometric needs, as well as recommending Dr. Ratty's office to everyone I know.

I've been a patient here for 29 years. I have always enjoyed my annual visits. The gals in the front are just a hassle. The last two visits my daughter and I have had, there has been some kind of hassle with the front desk. Last year my daughter and her prescription for contacts, this year me and my mask. They cut you off mid sentence and run off for the manager like children. Rude! Rude! Rude! Thank goodness the Manager was able to take care of both incidents in a calm professional manner. The back office and both Doctors are great people. I don't know that I will be back.

Highly recommended! Dr. Ratty and his staff have been our family optometrist for many years. They are still very thorough in their exams. I just picked up my new glasses today, and the friendly assistant not only gave me the pair with a cute case, but also offered to fix my old ones when I tought they couldn't be repaired! He put old lenses in a new frame, at no charge. Very happy!

So far up to this point my experience was great. But I picked up my glasses today and I immediately could not see through them. I put them in the case and I left with my old glasses on. My old sunglasses. So it's 10 o'clock at night and I am trying on my reading glasses so I can shop online. There's a huge scratch already that I did not do. And there is numbers on the lenses I have no idea what this is about I have never had a para glasses with numbers on them that are visible in the lens. So I am just going to update this later if they make it right for me. But besides the numbers

An 8:30 appointment and at 9:01as I write this, I'm standing and waiting for the doctor, surrounded by this circus. Lots of frames for perusal, but many look cheap and many are so similar as to not truly provide what I'd call a wide selection. Not impressed and probably won't be back.
One more thing... even after I replied affirmatively to the appt confirmation text yesterday, they still called and left a voicemail. Overkill, and annoying.
The only reason they even get three stars is because the doctor was super nice.

I love this place! I walked in for my appointment for my new sunglasses and was approached by Mariah. She greeted me with a big smile and got me in right away. She took excellent care of me and showed me several pairs of stunning glasses. I love this place and will recommend to everyone. I love my new sunglasses!! Thanks again.

This was my first time coming to this optometrist and I had a great experience, the doctor who first checked me informed me that if I could get her a copy of my old prescription that she could just update the prescription and not have to charge me. I was able to call my old optometrist in Santa Cruz and get that prescription before I was done with the appointment and avoid any charges.

Worst customer service!! I call to schedule an appt. Never been a patient before so I give them my information and then the receptionist looks to see if there is anything available for monday. Then the phone goes silent. I want told I would be put on hold but its fine because I'm sure there busy. Three minutes go by, still silent. Five minutes. It was almost 7 minutes when I just hung up. An hour later they call back to try and schedule an appt with me. They left a voicemail stating that we got disconnected. Sorry but I'm not interested in going somewhere where they treat there patients

I came here for my yearly visit to get contacts and this time glasses. I been coming to this office for over 10 years! As the years have pass their front desk customer service has gotten better. They now greet you as you come in and the wait to see a doctor is minimal.
