Dr. Chris Sierk grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa in a family of dentists. His father Don has practiced in the Iowa Quad Cities area as an orthodontist since 1976, and continues part time to this day in the practice he founded. His mother Pat is a retired librarian and elementary school teacher.
Dr. Sierk's younger brother Jon, a pediatric dentist, has practiced in the Denver suburbs of Highlands Ranch and Golden since 2003, and youngest brother Alex in 2007 transitioned into and now owns/operates Don's original orthodontic practice in Bettendorf, Eldridge, and Davenport, Iowa.Dr. Sierk spent countless summers at his Don's practice learning the basics of the specialty and what it took for Don to run a successful practice.

At Sierk Orthodontics initial consultations are always free and include digital photographs and a panoramic X-ray. The purpose of an initial consultation is to evaluate your orthodontic needs, determine if and when treatment is needed, and estimate the length and cost of the treatment. Photographs and X-rays help us determine exactly where each tooth is initially and accurately plan where it will end up.
Your treatment plan begins with a complimentary examination during which, you and Dr. Sierk will discuss your particular needs. Once he determines your situation is suitable for Invisalign treatment, a plan will be mapped out with your goals in mind.
Impressions and pictures of your teeth will be taken for digitization purposes so Dr. Sierk can work with a computerized 3-D image of your teeth and plan your tooth movement over the coarse of your entire treatment.From this precise plan, customized aligners are created with advanced technology for you to wear at each stage of your treatment.

Sierk Orthodontics is proud to offer the S.O.S. (Sierk Ortho Shuttle). The S.O.S. will arrive at your child's school to transport them to their orthodontic appointment at our office. After their appointment we will take them back to school and the best part is it's absolutely free!

Many of the employees gossip. In addition to that they don’t always stick to their schedules or give you a warning when they change/cancel appointments. Many members of the staff seem unsure of how to do their job and many are very aggressive when they adjust your braces which can beery painful especially when they don’t know what they’re doing. The amount of times I have had to go back to get something fixed simply because the person working on me did something incorrectly and didn’t get help is deplorable. I had an ortho consult for my daughter today at Sierk Orthodontics. My family and I were greeted warmly as we walked in. The check-in process was easy and we were seen promptly. My kids loved the game room they have at the clinic. Dr. Sierk took his time and thoroughly explained the game plan with regards to the orthodontic work my child needed. As an adult I was nervous of the idea of braces but DR. Chris Sierk has a very calm manner and listens to my concerns and answers my questions fully. They are very accommodating and always have a smile and warm greeting. As for the braces, we are ahead of schedule and looking great!! Highly recommend.

Since I was in 8th grade, when I got my braces off, I have always received compliments about how straight my teeth are (spoiler alert, I'm 29). I absolutely LOVED my orthodontists back home. However, I moved to Portland and of course, lost my retainer in transition. THANK YOU to Dr. Sierk! And his talented team (Kim, Jill, Melanie, Dana) you guys are rockstars. Over the past ten years, four family members (including me) have had orthodontic treatment from Dr. Sierk. We each had different treatment plans from an 11-month treatment to straighten a few bottom teeth to an intensive six-year plan. All our teeth are beautiful thanks to Dr. Sierk and their team. I brag to everyone I know that the entire Sierk staff has the absolute BEST customer service. We've never had to wait more than five minutes for our appointment and everyone is so friendly. I just left Dr. Sierk's office for an orthodontic consultation for my son, but we will not being going back. Before even seeing the doctor, I was cornered by the financial coordinator, who asked probing questions about our finances. Um, I'm an accountant and my husband is an IT Manager, we have health insurance and awesome credit, but unfortunately you won't know because we're taking our business elsewhere. I will not give business to doctors who clearly put finances over patient care. Once Dr. Sierk did finally see us, he gave a cursory examination and provided the least information

I had a pretty bad experience here. Doctor Sierk was really nice, however the staff are impersonal and make you feel stupid. When I made my appointment to have my braces applied, I let them know my insurance was changing and gave them the information, however they failed to check it before my appointment despite having been on the book for nearly 4 months. When I arrived, they realized that my new insurance wasn't even changed to be primary, and I had to wait for verification. Later in life (65) I decided to get braces on my teeth. I am so grateful that I chose Dr. Sierk as my Orthodontist. Dr. Sierk and his entire staff are professional, friendly and accommodating. They were also sensitive to the issues I had about getting braces "later in life." They explained the entire process to me from beginning to end, how long it would take, cost, etc., so that I could make an informed decision without any pressure. I noticed during my subsequent office visits that they treat everyone with care and concern as if he/she were their only patient.

I love Sierk Orthodontics! The staff is nice, the environment is fun, and the quality of service is awesome. Coming for a visit to have my braces tightened may sound painful, but it's quite enjoyable because everyone is so friendly! When I went to my very first appointment when I was seven, I was in awe: everyone was so nice, I could play video games, and it felt like a party. I recommend anyone to go to Sierk Orthodontics, because they will have a five-star quality time.

So far, SO GOOD! The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and totally accommodating! I would highly recommend them to all in need of ortho work. My daughter (and I) hang out in the arcade if there is any wait time (which is rare and never excessive). I'm a single mom , able to make payments which is the only way we could pull this off!
