Just bought a house. Seller used Ideal Fence 3-4 years ago for chain link fence. Post near house is not only noticeably crooked, but there's a 5" gap between the post and the house, where small dogs can get through.
Called twice during business hours, no answer. Emailed a few weeks ago, also no answer.

Avoid this company, and certainly never pay them a deposit! I paid a down payment for a fence in May of 2021. It's now October, I still have no fence, and the owner has stopped returning my calls and emails. This morning I filed a summons and complaint in small claims court seeking my money back. I'm not sure what happened on the owner's end, but there is no excuse for stealing deposits from paying clients. Save your money and time and look elsewhere.

Ideal Fence seems to have gone out of business and not informed a whole bevy of potential customers that had already put in their 60% down payment. For us that means a $2500 deposit that currently seems like they've just decided to steal.
I don't know what's going on, but we had a contract with them signed earlier this year in May of 2021, they contacted at the end of June to reschedule to install our fence at the end of Aug. and it is now the end of Sept. and they have ghosted all communications.
We just went to their physical location today, Tues around 3pm and there is no one there. It's locked

Sent Ideal Fence half the cost of the job in May. They kept pushing out the start date, which was fine in the beginning, but when we recently asked for a firm estimate on a start date, communication on their end ceased. Not sure what is going on with this company, but until they work through whatever they are going through, I would recommend going elsewhere. We are still unsure if we will get our deposit back.

I not recommend this Ideal Fencing! If you live in a Veridian neighborhood, please do business with Dane County Fence and Deck or Leading Edge as they are recommended by Veridian and have done many installs in these neighborhoods!

I had Scott come out for a quote, showed him where I wanted the fence (on property line) and submitted the plan to my HOA for approval. Once I received approval from my neighborhood association, I sent the approval and neighborhood requirements to Scott via email. After 2 months or so of waiting, they arrived to install our fence. As with all of the other reviews saying essentially the same thing, Scott is unable to hold true to his word and almost completely disappeared after receiving our deposit. My wife and I have been trying to get a hold of Scott for months. When he responds he says they'll be out later that week or he says they'll be out the following week. Every time he doesn't show and we can't get a hold of him through phone or email for extended periods of time only to have the same scenario repeat itself.
