The people here will warmly welcome you no matter what level of experience you are! I came in knowing absolutely nothing. They are very supportive and make you feel comfortable and encouraged coming. I'm so glad I found this place and started learning here! They offer many different types of classes. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I began attending classes at Juko-Ryu Toide & Martial Arts Center a few weeks ago and have enjoyed each one immensely. Dojo Headmaster Matt Smith is a fantastic teacher. His knowledge, commanding presence, sense of humor and excellent communication skills make for the perfect environment in which to learn self-defense.

It’s difficult to put into words just how great this place really is. Matt and Karissa both make their dojo feel less like a classroom and more like a home. Every time I go I’m ALWAYS pumped for my next lesson. An experience well worth the costs. I met Matt while working in a factory and had no interest in martial arts. After he convinced me to try at least ONE class, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about what I can do to better my training. A lot of fun, I highly recommend going. Even if it’s just trying one class!

The center has been a great place to train. I am a 62 year old disabled Vet with PTSD. They have help me make great strides, with their understanding and working with my short comings. Most times in the past I would walk out of a class. They help me to be able to stay put. Just waiting for my car to be worked on makes me want to leave and go flying out the door.
A great place to startor to drive on.
