Services
Jefferson Plastic Surgery is located at the corner of 9th and Walnut Streets in Center City, Philadelphia on the 15th floor of the Wills Eye Hospital Building. Our 10,000 square foot office complex has eight exam suites as well as a full service aesthetician suite.

Although all major surgeries are performed in a hospital with anethesia, smaller procedures with local anesthesia such as scar revision and excisions of skin lesion can be performed in the office.Excisions of dermatologic skin lesions are sent to pathology for a full evaluation. Insurance coverage is applicable for plastic surgical care as it would be for any excision performed by a dermatologist.
At Jefferson Plastic Surgery in Philadelphia, breast augmentation is one of our most frequently performed procedures. The treatment effectively increases the size and improves the shape of the breasts through the placement of silicone gel or saline implants. Read on for detailed information about breast augmentation surgery techniques, recovery, and results.
At our Philadelphia practice, the breast augmentation with lift treatment is most commonly performed in women that have experienced changes in breast volume, breast shape, skin laxity, and/or nipple position after pregnancy and childbirth. This is a high customizable surgery that can be tailored to the unique needs and anatomy of the patient.
2 Just like the primary breast augmentation procedure, breast implant revision techniques are chosen based on the patient's unique anatomy and cosmetic goals. The presence of implant complications will also affect the surgical approach. At our Philadelphia practice, our breast implant revision surgeons are trained in various revision techniques.
Breast implant manufacturers have developed many different types of implants to suit the varying anatomical needs of patients. While the different types of implants have made it possible for plastic surgeons to achieve good results on all body types, it has made the breast augmentation process a bit more confusing for patients.

I met Dr. Copit to discuss breast augmentation. His staff was extremely friendly and listened to all of my questions and concerns before the dr came into the room. Dr. copit explained every step of the surgery to recovery and has a great sense of humor. I was referred here from a friend. He does AMAZING work!

Dr. Jenkins excised a painful scar today. He's affable, professional, and extremely skillful. I highly recommend him. However, I've had two follow up appointments with Dr. Copit, and he spent all of two minutes with me and hardly even looked at me! I was disappointed and angry because my scar was bothering me. I also waited too long to be seen by him. So I've lowered my rating. Dr. Jenkins is still good.

I'll start with the good: The support staff (nurses, PAs) are wonderful, and the location is convenient.
The bad: The office consistently overcharged me for copays. I had to follow up multiple times to get the charges corrected, and even after speaking with them, they sent me to collections for an "unpaid bill" that was the overcharged copay balance.
Initially, I was happy with the support Dr. Jenkins offered in discussing options for breast reconstruction for my cancer. However, once the surgery was completed, all the answers I got to my questions were variations of "Everyone is different" or

In office 45 minutes for an appointment, the dr. spent all of 5 minutes maybe with me. Was supposed to be calling for certification or pre approval. That was 6 weeks ago. Guess they don’t want my business. So I won’t be having my surgery there!!!

Had my ear piercings sewn up and repierced. Didn’t heal well and my ears now are forming little holes where they were sewn. I called twice and emailed twice and was told to put cream on them.
Planning on calling an attorney

I am a cancer survivor and wanted to weigh out my options for breast reconstruction. The doctor I met with was in the room with me all of 10-15 minutes. I felt like a number rather than a future patient of his. There was no connection at all. I was very depressed when I walked away. I don’t think I’ll be getting anything done there.

I lost weight and had stomach skin removed. Dr Greaney did the surgery as far as sewing and things like that its been good. I was told at the consultation that they would tighten up the pelvic skin too. My pelvic skin was not touched. I just had surgery on 3/5 . I also noticed that my stomach is lumpy hopefully from the trauma of the surgery. I'm hoping that my 2 week follow up there will be a remedy for the pelvic area because I'm unhappy with it. When I called He said that he did all he could to it(but he'll check it out). But its impossible! So If I walk out of the appointment happy I will change

I had surgery there yesterday by Dr. Krein to have a cyst removed from my left ear. They had to cut a chuck of my ear off and you cannot even tell! I would recommend this doctor. The only downfall is if you call for a concern it takes the staff days to get back to you to address that concern. I called twice in one day to have the staff call me back two days later saying they spoke to the doctor yesterday but waited another whole day after speaking with the doctor to get back to me, this happened twice!
