With our experience and reputation for quality machining, it only makes sense to let us be the solution to your tooling problems. We have 5 CNC Machining centers, an Okuma bridge mill, Wotan boring mill and 3 Bridgeport manual mills. We have the capabilities to mill small, complex 3D work to large plates and blocks (X157" x Y78").
We have 6 CNC turning centers, two manual engine lathes and a 46 vertial lathe. All CNC turning centers are Mazak and and our max CNC turning capabilities are 28" swing x 80" length. Our facility has extensive grinding capabilities, with several precision surface gridners, OD grinder, ID grinder and a blanchard grinder that can grind 51 corner to corner.

The George A. Mitchell Mfg Company was founded by George A. Mitchell and the John H. Barton, in 1973. John Barton was the managing partner for our company until he passed away in 2004, after which George Mitchell took a more direct role in the management of the company and is currently the sole owner.
Our company is a full service machine shop with large machining capabilities. While we specialize in tooling for the tubing industry we also have the capability to handle most any machining job. We also offer design and build services for small assembly machine, jigs, fixtures and gauges. We utilize the most current CAD/CAM software, which includes SolidWorks, AutoCad, Ez-Cam & Gibbs-Cam.

After calling a few places that gave me so so answers on a job James told me to bring my pieces by and he'd see what he could, an hour later my pieces were ready and the pricing was very fair a d the customer service was remarkable, ask for James and you wont go wrong with is my one stop shop for mill work.
