Our Doctor's use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our judgment and years of experience. If you've been to a chiropractor before and prefer to be adjusted in a particular way, let our us know.
If you've ever gone to a social event where you didn't know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important that our relationship can go the distance.
Most people associate chiropractic care with headaches, neck and back problems. Our interest in the spine is because it houses the nervous system that carries vital communications between your brain and your body. Some consult our practice for "non-back" health problems. If the patient has subluxations, chiropractic care may be helpful.
Spinal joints that aren't moving right can choke or irritate nearby nerves. Chiropractic adjustments add motion to these stuck joints, reducing nervous system disruption. Then, health has the best opportunity to return. Because we rely on adjustments to help your body "right itself", we're highly proficient.

I tried many chiropractors in the area over the years, most of whom adjust the same way every time with little regard to my actual issues (and a couple who adjusted everyone the same way). I see Dr. Tom, but every chiropractor in the office is kind, concerned, and excellent at their profession. Each has a different style, so if one isn't a good fit, try one of the other two. I trust them with what's most important to me: my physical health and well-being.

I have been seeing Dr. Joe for a while now, maybe a year? He has helped me with my overall health as well as getting through some pretty significant rib and back pain I experienced this last fall (2018) from an episode with Bronchitis. I have enjoyed working with him on my continued care. His office is always clean, his staff is wonderful to communicate with, and he is very easy to talk to. I definitely recommend them to everyone in need of chiropractic care.

I have been to numerous Chiropractors in my life and can say this is probably the best. Both my wife and I go they are that good.
As a service connected disabled vet there are many issues of concern, but they listen and assess, then take great care to target and treat specific areas.
Great staff, amazing Dr.'s.

I was scared to go to a chiropractor because I was always told they’ll make you go back for the rest of your life. Dr. Tom was amazing my first visit and explained everything in detail. The first adjustment was weird but great in how much it helped. Now instead of having to go get an MRI or nerve conduction test I am going here and it’s so nice to have such a great experience and have less pain. Soon there will be no pain.

I highly recommend Tessendorf Chiropractic! We started taking our daughter there in early July to treat her chronic bed wetting, she is 10 years old. She has always been a heavy sleeper and has never been able to stay dry for more than a night at a time. We had originally taken her to her primary care physician and they stated that there wasn't anything we could do at this time and to just "ride" it out, hoping she would grow out of it. After the first time seeing Dr. Joe, she stayed dry for 3 nights! He did such an amazing job explaining everything too us and making our daughter feel comfortable

Tessendorf Chiropractic is the best place around. Dr. Joe eased my EXTREME fear of the chiropractor and has been taking care of me for awhile now with great results. My teenage daughter also sees Dr. Joe and loves it! We actually look forward to our visits. We won't go anywhere else because they treat you like family!! I would highly recommend Dr. Joe or Dr. Tom!
