I responded to an ad to buy waterfront property out of a development on a nearby lake. The one day sale was set up to do mass showings then if you wanted to buy you signed a contract on the spot for the lot of your choice. The land was beautiful and prices were very good so I entered into a contract. The Seller made no provisions for any due diligence and set an aggressive closing date.
