This is just my opinion, as I know many families like to wear the same outfit for their portraits. But in my experience, photos look better when everyone blends well, but not too much. To be honest, when I see a photo with the entire family wearing denim shirts, all I see is a sea of denim shirts - not the people.
A newborn photo shoot is a totally different shoot from the regular family photo session. Whereas you can relax, play and have fun with your family in any setting, the newborn needs a lot more attention and care. Therefore I always plan for more time when photographing newborns, so we can relax, feed when necessary and allow the baby to settle at his or her own pace.

I booked a photo shoot on January 16th and it ended up snowing that day so we decided to reschedule. Whenever I messaged her to reschedule she replied with a date that did not work for me because I worked, so I offered a date that was further out and never heard a response. It’s now been a month and 2 weeks without a response, I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt so I messaged her again on February 2nd and 22nd briefly stating that I hope everything is okay on her end with family and if she could respond whenever she gets the chance. Still nothing, keep in mind I also paid a deposit. Very

I could not be more happy with Yellow Tree Photography. She has been doing my family photos for several years now, and I have become a loyal customer, and will continue to do so. The 2.5 hour drive is worth it. My kids love her, and she always gets what I want as far as poses and scenery. She pays attention to detail and just an all around sweet person. The pricing is a good value as well, and there are many different options to choose from!

I would highly recommend Yellow Tree Photography. Barbara did an awesome job on our family pics. She made everyone feel comfortable and made sure to get every pose we wanted and had the pictures back to us in a timely manner. She communicated every step of the process and feel her prices were more than fair.
