I just would like to apologize to everyone for my outburst. Under the circumstances with the covid outbreak short staffed qand everything You all did the best job possible and I have nothing but the upmost respect for each and every one of you. And I do not blame you for not wanting my mother to stay there any longer. Thank you for all that you have done and again I apologize for my outburst.

Beware! This place is infested with rodents and roaches. 90% of the residents there are very obese, so the workload is extremely difficult to do. Always short staffed no matter what. Sometimes I was the only aide on the night shift caring for 40 residents at a time. Princess & Brandy are the absolute worst at the facility to be the DON and nurse manager.

My mother in law, went without a blanket all night until morning staff came on. She reported she was given a blanket but was cold all night.
She said wait time 1 hour after she pushes buzzer.
My wife called at 7am and was not transferred due to staff debriefing. A new staff called her back at 2pm that day.

I worked at the Chateau for 10 years in the 1990’s. It was a facility that I was proud to work at. Recently a friend of mine was discharged from the hospital to the Chateau for pt/rehab. When we arrived there we waited over 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. They asked my friend’s name and told us her room number and then walked away from us. We went to the room and it was bad. The mattress was very thin. The blanket had holes in it and the room was dirty. No one came to get her settled in or welcome her. We put her call light on and after 40 minutes of waiting and no

This is the worst I've ever seen staff taking up the two hours to answer a call button I was there. I was called and I referred them to take my husband to the hospital they didn't he end up being unresponsive and taken the next day staff is not adequate administration is the worst I'm surprised it's still open and I don't know where they got these high marks from maybe someone's paying a lot more than others do not recommend please find somewhere else for your loved ones

Very nice place.. but the nurses are terrible. My Father-in-Law is residing here. He pushed the nurse call button for chest pain and it took them almost a half hour to tend to him. Now someone down the hall pushed the call button probably about 40 minutes ago and still no nurse. Then when they gave my FIL his meds they ripped the water bottle out of his hands. Very disappointed. I'm about to put a hidden camera in his room to see what goes on when no one else is here...VERY DISAPPOINTED

I'm a paratransit driver and I have picked up many clients weekly from the "chateau". I tell you this is one of 3 worst places in the entire twin cities to bring your loved ones. This is in fact the only nursing home that allows people to enter the entire facility without questioning. When I first started picking up clients there, I would walk in (no work uniform) and stand to the side and no one would ask why I was there for atleast 5-10 mins. I'm sure anyone could enter that place and walk around the entire facility, client rooms and all without question. They dont help the clients prepare for

The nursing staff along with some of the PT as well as OT and nutritional staff were awesome...cant say as much for the DIRECTOR! So unprofessional as well as UNKIND! I stayed here after a fall I had. Would only like to praise the amazing nurses and CNA's that put actual love into their work! But Managment lacks so much and needs to be switched out!

Poor communication with patients about menu options, laundry, how things work and who to talk to. The PT was very good but nursing and aide's care was sporadic to say the least. The facility itself is old and not updated, and the food wasn't very good. My sister came to pick me up to do a home visit prior to my release and she was yelled at by the administrator for parking in handicap spot even though she had a parking permit to do so.
