Tyler Papenfuss founded what is now South Central Landscapes in 2005. Tyler maintains a hands-on approach, personally ensuring that each project reflects the quality and standard expected from South Central Landscapes. Tyler received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.
He is often accompanied on site by our resident "trucker dog", Goose. Kayla Sipple has worked behind-the-scenes at South Central Landscapes from the early stages of inception. In her current role, she oversees the company's dynamic day-to-day affairs and assists with long-term goals and demands of South Central Landscapes.

South Central Landscapes is an award winning landscaping company based in Cambridge, Wisconsin. We've served Dane, Jefferson and Rock counties since 2005 and specialize in landscape and hardscape design and implementation. This is a gem of a company! My husband and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Tyler, Kayla and the crew at South Central Landscapes.
Over a decade of experience in the design and installation of retaining walls, paver patios, outdoor kitchens and permeable paver designs. We offer traditional finish landscaping services, like installation of mulch, decorative stone, grass seed, sod and exterior planting beds. From a blank canvas to an outdoor sanctuary, we can help navigate your new home and commercial office landscape needs.
We know that your home is the biggest investment you'll make in your lifetime, and that investing your hard earned money into your property is a big deal - that's why we take the privilege of earning your business seriously. Our top priorities are quality construction and client satisfaction. We're highly detail oriented folks, and ensure that we take our time on each project to get things right.
At this time, we are hiring for part-time snow removal positions. You will be required to complete a questionnaire per FMCSA guidelines to become qualified for this position. Landscape construction crew is responsible for providing labor necessary to complete projects. This includes preparing work sites, installing hardscape elements and completing finish landscaping tasks.
Messages received outside of standard hours will receive a prompt response on our next business day. While our goal is to catch every incoming phone call that we receive during the day, occasionally calls will go unanswered if we are on the other line or away from the phone - as a small business, all of our employees wear many hats!

Tyler and crew have done several projects for us from final grading and seeding of front yard to retaining walls. They always show up on time and do what they say they will do. I enjoy working with Tyler and South Central Landscaping and recommend them as a great company to work with. Our neighbor saw first hand the quality work of South Central and had them install a flag stone walkway. It looks great.

Working with South Central Landscapes was a fantastic experience from start to finish. They completed a nearly 50' long retaining wall, installed permanent color changing in-ground lighting along the base, added a 4' wide bed of washed stone in front of the wall, reworked the grading of my entire front yard (per request), added fresh top soil, installed sod for the entire yard, and even brought fresh mulch for the new bed atop the new retaining wall as well as the rest of my front yard - and my wife and I have been receiving complements ever since! Tyler, Scotty and crew did an amazing job with our stone wall. They were professional and worked around our farm equipment when necessary. I truly have never had a better experience, working with a company, than I have with South Central Landscapes. They got back to me immediately, gave an estimate within a week of contacting them, and did a fantastic job with our backyard landscaping project (patio installation, laid the base for a future shed, and took out the small tree/shrubs and overgrowth, fixed a tree removal that was not finished properly from the last company, leveled and reseeded part of our lawn, and mulched everything).
