Wee Explorers is a parent collaborative preschool and was first established in 1973. We provide children with a nurturing environment rich in opportunities for developing social skills, language and literacy, creative expression, science and mathematical concepts. We are proud of our program as we offer children a nurturing environment while encouraging a love of learning.
The program strives to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten readiness while aligning its curriculum with Vermont's Early Learning Standards. It allows children hands-on learning opportunities, while teaching children how to work together, and build a community within the classroom. The program consists of both play-based learning opportunities as well as teacher-directed activities.

Services
Wee Explorers Preschool will provide children with an environment rich in opportunities for developing skills, and for growing cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically. Children will learn about themselves and their world using real and concrete materials. This learning will also take place through interactive and explorative centers, which will provide play with a purpose.
Wee Explorers is committed to providing affordable, high quality early education to all preschoolers. Wee Explorers will create an environment which encourages learning in a fun, caring way that fosters a high self-esteem in each child.
The curriculum shall promote: social skills, positive self-concepts, language and literacy, physical development in both indoor and outdoor settings, healthy habits (hand washing, helping to prepare snack etc.) creative expression and art appreciation as well as opportunities to explore science, dramatic play, music and mathematical concepts.
