How much can you budget to spend on your new home? System Built homes are treated the same as all homes built on site when it comes to financing. This is best done prior to deciding on your new home floor plan, so you know up-front the size and style of home and amenities will fit your budget. Other companies are often modular 'dealers' and employ sales people and managers who work for a corporate dealership who lack construction and design experience resulting in very high turn over. I first met John back in 2006 when I was interviewing various builders for my home in Williamsburg. John was the clear choice. People often talk about how building a house is the hardest thing they had done, how it stressed them out, etc. I had none of that . The whole process and experience was easy and fun. I highly recommend using Virginia Building Solutions for your new home. The office and field staff were always professional, easy to work with, and kept the project on-schedule. They helped me customize the house without pushing any expensive or unnecessary upgrades. The workmanship was great, using materials and fixtures which were often considered upgrades with other builders. Since moving in, I’ve had several compliments on the new home. NOT handicap friendly, and was called a liar by the company.... watch the reviews, they might be friends/relatives leaving good reviews to generate business.... My review of this company is REAL. Emailed in for specific information on 8/20/19.. got a generated response from Fran on 8/22/19 to give them a call to drive 2 hours to sit down and talk, I emailed back 8/22/19 stating that at this moment due to surgeries my father had I can’t travel that far with him being handicap. I never got a email back. I called 8/27/19 since I didn’t get a email back, left a message with receptionist. Received

I knew from the time I came into the office for the first meeting that I wanted VBS to build my home and I had already met with 2 other builders. VBS has a superb team and they made the house building process pretty easy for me. I appreciated their easy availability and quick response time to all my inquiries. The Monday morning emails were a terrific way to keep me informed. I really looked forward to them!

We are living in our dream home thanks to the team at Virginia Building Solutions! From start to finish, designing our dream home and making it a reality was a great experience. This is the second home we have built and our experience with VBS was so much better than our first home. From handing over our house plans, to picking out finishes and other design details, the folks at VBS helped our vision for our home become a reality. Plus, we just loved everyone on their team.
