Smithfield Learning Center provides quality day care and education for your child from infant through pre-K. We serve infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-K children. All of our teachers are state certified according to the Pennsylvania state child care requirements for day care teachers.

Smithfield Learning Center is an exceptional nursing environment that was specifically designed to provide a safe, clean, secure environment for your baby. Our infant center accepts infants from birth to 18 months of age. Cleanliness is a very high priority for our caregivers.
Each infant in our care is assigned his own private crib and cubby where his belongings such as clothing, bed linens, food, and bottles are stored securely from other children.Cribs and belongings are never shared between the infants in our care. Smithfield Learning Center strongly emphasizes the importance of a clean and sanitary environment for our youngest guests.

Smithfield Learning Center's Toddler Care accepts children from 18 months to three years of age. We understand the needs of this special high-energy group of children. We select caregivers with similar high energy levels and an appreciation for the exploration, investigation, and discovery needs of your toddler child.
The Smithfield Learning Center (SLC) Preschool Classroom accommodates children from the ages of three to four years old. In special cases, younger children who are more mature for their age or who require additional mental stimulation may be moved from the toddler classroom into the preschool classroom before the age of three.
The Pre-K Program at Smithfield Learning Center (SLC) is designed as an exciting kindergarten preparation curriculum for students aged four to five who are expected to enroll in a formal kindergarten program within the year or two following admission to our program. Our teachers place an intensive focus on getting the students excited and prepared for their entry into kindergarten.
