After contacting several people and having them repeatedly flake on me, David was an absolute pleasure to work with! He responded to my inquiry promptly and came out that day for an estimate. He was able to start work later that week.
I was really impressed by his attention to detail and easy to work with demeanor. He offers suggestions but ultimately defers the decision to the homeowner. He helped me fix a bathtub framing and got through my list of smaller odds-and-ends jobs that had been bothering me for awhile. He was on-time, communicative, and efficient!
His rates are also very reasonable

I contacted David 2 months ago and he left me such a wonderful, sweet voicemail saying that if I could wait, he would be more than happy to do my task list. I decided that since he had so many great reviews on YELP and that it is difficult to get a handyman during COVID that it would be worth the wait, especially since he was a general contractor and I assumed with workers comp and general liability insurance. I sent him an email with a project list so he could look it over to make sure he could provide service and he assured me that I was scheduled. At the end of November, I contacted him and

Totally amazing! Understood everything I needed done. Communicated WELL unlike the last handyman I had (posted a review avoid him if you can). David did a great job on the misc items I needed done. Was clean, safe with mask and respectful! Would hire him again in a heartbeat. Efficient with his time and very reasonably priced. Good quality work!

We hired David to replace an exterior door to our house that had rot on it. He got everything done in a day and even gave me tips on how to keep the door from rotting in the future. We live near the ocean which is harsh on the wood and David has experience with this. He is professional, courteous, and easy to communicate with. 5/5 would hire David again.

We recently hired David to install a locking mailbox outside our house and hardware (towel rings, toilet paper holders, etc.) into our 3.5 bathrooms. He did a fantastic job. Very professional and clean work. We couldn't be happier.

I am a pretty picky person, especially when it comes to our new home. David's attention to detail ensures things are done correctly. David was very professional. He was on time and I give all his work an A+. He fixed our dishwasher that was installed improperly and was leaking through the vent. He installed our light switches and lighting over the sink. He installed a shelf above our TV that was above the fireplace. He installed our three curtain rods and jacket hooks for our guest outerwear. It's been months since he did the job and all of them still in great shape.
I've had shelved installed before by other handyman services only to find them coming off the walls months later. We will definitely be calling

This revue is 4 months late & I apologize. Of course I have a horror story-my water heater burst and flooded my very small town house way back in April 2015 (7 months ago). I had been waiting for the insurance/mortgage company to figure it all out when I finally found a handyman whose business is -"The City Dweller".
