White Tiger offers traditional Taekwondo training and blends fitness and fun with discipline and respect. Our program integrates the physical skills of Taekwondo with the mental strengthening aspects. Students continually learn about the Korean language and culture, while also developing good study habits, executive functioning skills and responsibility and cooperation at home and beyond.

Services
We opened White Tiger in 2006 with a dream of building and teaching a community of Taekwondo enthusiasts who would learn to love Taekwondo as much as we do. Grand Master Yoo was professionally trained and educated at the prestigious Yong-In University in Seoul, South Korea; with a Bachelor Degree in Sport Science with an emphasis in Taekwondo.
Each quarter we begin new students in our Trial Session. It is two weeks of classes, includes a custom uniform & t-shirt for $59. A chance to learn some basic Taekwondo, get introduced to White Tiger Martial Arts, earn your White Belt and see if it is the place for you! After completing the Trial Session you can continue your training towards Black Belt!
We have been doing Taekwondo with White Tiger Martial Arts for the last four years. This is one of the best decisions in the past few years. Master Yoo pays personal attention to every student, doesn't matter if the student is a white or black belt! Instructor Kim and A.J. are amazing along with tremendous understanding and support from Mrs Yoo.

Great place for kids. Master Yoo is great with the kids. Mrs.Yoo is very kind and nice but when she has to be strict- the kids better do what she says.
My son has been going here for a year now. And he loves it.
One thing though, WTMATKD is geared towards kids for sure. And they do a great job at it.

We moved our son to White Tiger from another local Taekwondo facility because we felt the other place lacked discipline and structure. We are SO HAPPY with the move!!! We have seen a drastic change in our sons ability to focus and in his discipline both in class and at home! We're only sorry we didn't start out here to begin with. This place is absolutely the real deal! Master Yoo is strict, but in the best way. He expects a lot from his students, and he gets a lot, but he's there helping with every step. My son and I trained under Master Yoo for over 4 years and I cannot say enough positive things about his dedication to success for his students. He provides a firm yet caring approach to his teaching style which instills strong values among his students. I watched my 6 year old son grow into a confident young man with a caring approach to everyone around. Being his Father, I would love to take all the credit but I owe a good portion of this to Master Yoo and his training. My brother and I are currently going to this martial arts school here and love it! Master Yoo is a fun and incredibly skilled teacher. I also like the help from all of the assistant instructors. I always feel like I can rely on white tiger martial arts to have fun and enjoy Taekwondo. White tiger martial arts is like my second home and I am looking forward to many more great memories here in the future.

Love this place. Master Yoo is the perfect balance of stern and playful. He's incredibly knowledgable and encouraging. He's patient but he pushes the kids just enough. He's ALWAYS present and teaching and Mrs. Yoo is always around to help teach or communicate with parents and students alike. My son likes it too and he's quite sensitive. We've been going for nearly a year and have no plans to stop.

When you shop for TKD place to join, watch sabum-nim(instructor) and how he conducts in front of his students. You will find several places where their sabum is out of shape or they have black belt students teaching instead. You do not want these places to learn TKD.
Yoo sabum-nim still practices TKD everyday and it shows. He still can do most difficult spin kicks, high axe kicks above his head and can do full leg splits.
He is most polite yet firm and do not tolerate disrespect from his students. He will spend extra time with you so that you are learning the right way and will not hand

My son and I have been taking classes here for the last two years. This is our first martial arts experience, so I don't have much to compare to, but I do know that Master Yoo is a very competent teacher and is great with children. He runs the school with his wife, and they are very family-oriented. This would be the perfect place to go if you have children, or would like to learn martial arts with your children.
