Looking for someone to cater a Grand Opening, Fund Raising Event or a Corporate Picnic? We have the equipment and personnel to handle your event. Our Ole Hickory Pit can produce wonderful BBQ; OR, we can use it like an oven for non-barbequed items. The 60 square feet of cooking capacity can handle just about anything you want.
I received a phone call from Wendy a week before the event which was to be a Celebration of Life for her Father who had just passed. We decided on a menu, and a week later, we had the event. I would like to say thank you to Pam of "The Pit Stop BBQ" in Acton for catering my late father's Celebration of Life.

I didn't cook this year for Thanksgiving, so we called Pit Stop BBQ LLC. We were surprised at the selection of
Food they offered. They can make anything that you want and/or need at your next gathering. Pam is great,
she is very nice. Pam had the food at our house on time,
and it was hot. The packing of the food was very clean
and easy to set up, it was done in a few minutes. TRY THEM OUT!! . FOOD IS VERY GOOD. We love Pit Stop BBQ and you will too.

I would like to say thank you to Pam of The Pit Stop BBQ in Acton for catering my father's in laws 70th Birthday. We had around 50 people and it all went without a hitch. The food was very good and a great value. She did everything she said she would from set up, to clean up. It was worry free so I could actually visit with all the guests. We will definitely be having her for future events.

The food was DELICIOUS! Pam and her team catered our wedding (cocktail hour AND reception) for 130 people in October, in the mountains and even though she couldn't get her truck in to cook on site (rough dirt roads to get in), she delivered! She was always very responsive via e-mail to any questions we had. She provided quotes quickly and we found her prices to be very reasonable. She came out to check out our venue in advance to become familiar with the set up areas and together we came up with a game plan to navigate some unexpected twists and turns. If you have not had the pleasure of ordering from this awesome caterer, then you have not lived!! I contacted the Pit Stop BBQ with hopes of having my granddaughter's birthday party catered. Pam was so amazing, helpful and friendly. Not only did she help me choose the right menu, but she also worked with my budget and gave me a such a delicious variety of food. Great food! We had them cater our company lunch of about 200 people and they did a great job. We had the roasted chicken, pulled pork, mac & cheese, roasted root vegetables and baked beans, everything was really good. Also ordered the roasted vegetable vegetarian sandwich for our vegetarians, they were very happy with it, said it was one of the best vegetarian options they've had. Looking forward to being able to use them again for another event.

We have a whole hog catered every year for a Friendsgiving. Every year the hog comes out dry and flavorless. This year we called Pit Stop, they came to my house with a huge trailer with its own full kitchen and smoker. We had a whole hog,turkey,and a hand full of sides catered. The service was amazing, they really worked hard to make it a great event. The Hog was cooked perfect, full of flavor and tender. All the sides and turkey was great too. The Pit Stop will be my only choice for any party in the future.

Pam catered our event recently and we were all impressed by the delicious food! The pulled pork was "to die for", I can honestly say I have NEVER had pulled pork that was that tender, tasty, and juicy, it literally fell apart...the cole slaw and potato salads were awesome as well! Everyone went back for more..very professional ...I give her service an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up!

I can't thank Pam and her team enough for catering our wedding in Leona Valley CA.
We ordered pulled pork, chicken, blue cheese cranberry pecan salad garlic mashed potatoes and frilled veggies. Everything was delicious and since I was a pescatarian Pam went above and beyond and smoked salmon (that was to die for) just for me!
Professional. Delicious. On time. We couldn't have asked for better.

We hired Pam for my dad's 60th birthday dinner for 30 people. Overall, we were happy with her food and service. Pulled pork, trip tip, baked beans, mac and cheese were all very good. Salad was okay, corn bread was a little on the dry side. But the main dishes were good and they were on time, ready to serve the guests with smiles and great service. There were some changes that needed to be made, and a few miscommunications but overall, everything turned out well. Pam was professional and timely in her communication and food made the party extra special. Thanks again!

Our family had the pleasure of using Pam the second time on 9/28/14 for our pit lunch for Streets of Lancaster. She did an amazing job as always with coming up with ideas and making it work for us. Food was to die for! Her pulled pork was so moist and had the perfect amount of smoke taste to it! We had people that did not show up, so took home the leftovers and ate every last bite! The only time you don't mind eating the same thing over and over. Pam is such a delight to work with and everything she makes is above and beyond what you expect! From the quote process all the way through to catering our company picnic, Pam with The Pit Stop BBQ was outstanding. She was excellent in answering all of our questions, arrived on time, cooked AMAZING BBQ, and served all of our guests with a smile on her face. We couldn't have been more pleased with The Pit Stop BBQ and we will definitely be using their services again. I couldn't say enough positive things about their catering services and the food they cooked. The pig candy was my favorite and the ribs were cooked to perfection. Don't hesitate - they're awesome!

We had this catering truck make food for an event at our home. The food was fantastic and everyone was very happy w/ it. It was all fresh and hot as they just park their truck outside and bring the food in to serve. My only slight gripe is that they ran out of sides (for 2nd and 3rd helpings) but that was due to the large portions they served our guests.
I would highly suggest them as caterors.
