Services
Take your first few steps inside our community and you'll quickly notice that it really does feel like home. The grounds are meticulously landscaped with seating and walking paths. Furnishings are carefully selected for style, comfort and functionality. All of our activities and programs are specifically designed to bring meaning and value into the lives of our residents by allowing them to be as independent as possible.
Executive Director - I'm Denise Brown and have been in Senior Living for 10 years. Prior to joining Grants Pass Spring Meadow, I worked as a Pastor's Assistant where I discovered a true love of working with seniors. When I am not spending time with my Spring Meadow family, I love spending time with my husband of 26 years, our 4 children, two grandchildren, and 9 dogs.
At Cascades of Grants Pass we provide a worry-free environment where our residents can enjoy a full, enriching lifestyle. Along with personalized, quality care, we provide our residents and their families with peace of mind. Assisted living accommodations are best for those who can benefit from monitored support, but do not require the more comprehensive care.
At Cascades of Grants Pass our independent living lifestyle is perfect for seniors who are ready to give up the worries of home ownership, but not the freedom to come and go as they please. At Grants Pass retirement and senior living community you can relax and enjoy yourself while we take care of the day-to-day tasks to make it possible.
At Cascades of Grants Pass, we understand that Alzheimer's and other types of memory loss diseases can be extremely challenging, not only to the individual who is facing the illness, but also to the entire family. We also understand that the decision to place a loved one in the care of others is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions you'll ever have to make.

The food is awful here. That is the only complaint. I believe they are trying to kill everyone with their unhealthy options.

This is a beautiful facility. Bryan was especially helpful and very kind. From our tour I highly recommend giving this facility every consideration.

This place has a revolving door. They cant seem to keep their staff happy because they treat them so poorly. Very unorganized with no professional communication. Nobody wants to work in an environment where your unappreciated and are treated like trash. They would never be legal on staffing. legally you have to have 4 caregivers but they would at times only have 2. For 75 residents They also would have hoyer lifts when they where not suppose to have them. Hoyer lifts are for skilled nursing facilities. None of their employees where happy which is the reason for them having a revolving door. I would

Where do I start...First they would not give my Grandmother her prescription meds because it was "written up wrong" on more then 1 occasion. Even though she is sharp and has been taking the same meds for the last 10 years. I had to have countless "talks" and "meeting" with staff regarding this issue. Then the "rent" and "care cost" when dramatically up in price with NO notification, no care change, after they signed a contract regarding fee's. The Kitchen is repeatedly "closed" for meals and the residents are handed sandwiches. I clean my Grandparent apartment because it rarely gets done. NEVER

My wife and I were looking for a place for her sister to move to. We just dropped in with no warning at all. I always feel this is the best way to see how things are REALLY run.
Well, the minute we walked in the front door we were very impressed with the cleanliness and how bright everything looked. It was almost like walking into a very nice hotel.
We were greeted by 4 of the residents that were just sitting around talking. They seemed to us to be very happy, as they welcomed us to their home. Since we had not made an appointment to see this facility we were afraid we would not get to see how

Brookdale is an affordable assisted living center. They do a good job for the price. Its not a high end assisted living center, but your not paying a high end price. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice. The food is not bad. They could probably use more staff, but most assisted living centers have a staff turnover rate... My Grandmother currently lives there and I visit her as much as possible. Seniors can be very picky, grandmas complaint is allways the food, but she has all her teeth and loves well seasoned food. Most seniors need softer food and fairly bland at that so they cant make everyone

I have to say, that I have seen a dramatic decline since Brookdale took over.
I can only speak for the Assisted Living Facility. I am finding that my loved one's room will go long periods of time without being cleaned. They are "Short-staffed". Why? That isn't a good enough excuse for me to accept the fact that there are only a few people trying to do everything instead of dedicated people doing specific jobs. The same people who serve the meals, clean the rooms and run around trying to do too many things!! No complaint against the staff....It's Brookdale in general for not keeping enough staff
