In the 1920's the Harleysville Mutual Insurance Company contracted with Hershey & Gibbel for their services as Managing General Agents. This relationship grew and prospered for over 60 years. While serving the Lititz community, the Hershey & Gibbel local insurance agency developed into a professional, full service, independent insurance office.
Ethan Gibbel serves as President of Gibbel Insurance and is focused on commercial and employee benefits business development. He has been part of the Gibbel team since 2004. Ethan is a 2002 alumni of Juniata College with a BS in Business Management. His favorite part of his role at Gibbel Insurance is building relationships in the community and partnering with business owners to protect their assets and control their costs.

While purchasing a new home, Gibbel Insurance was recommended by my real estate agent. Having recently moved to Lititz from another state I was, of course, needing to establish new property, casualty and general liability personal insurance. My research identified a number of very reputable agencies in and around Lititz. I made inquiries to three and all came back promptly with very professional and competitive proposals.
