The roots of Fort Myers Marine date back over 35 years, but the story starts when our founder and former owner, Charles Calkins, turned his lifelong passion of "fixing anything" into what would become southwest Florida's largest single-location boat retailer and service department.

Bad experience. Was quoted a price to install Talon anchor. Gave part numbers to Brian. Scheduled install took off work. They installed with a different mount. It failed as it acted like a scoop and could not drive faster than 8 MPH. They said the would remove for full refund or change mount to original one discussed. They called and said I could pick up but had to PAY additional $200 for their mistake. Paid it to get my boat back. It looks good but I need to water test it. I also to take off work to get it back. Not to mention the inconvenience for the family boating weekend. Be careful. I was
