Established in 1978 at our present day East Dixie location, Doug's Towing started as Doug's Exxon. Doug's Exxon opened with one wrecker and operated out of a two-bay garage. In 1982, changes within the Exxon corporation forced Doug's Exxon to change to Doug's Chevron. By 1988, business had grown so additions were needed; the existing two bays were no longer enough.
Doug's Towing has the latest equipment to fulfill every need of every customer. We have rollbacks to accommodate customers, along with small and medium duty wreckers capable of handling towing and recovery needs. Doug's Towing has the areas only rotators with capacities of 75, 65, 60 tons. We also have multiple heavy wreckers to assist with every towing & recovery need.
In our equipment hauling division, you will find a vast amount of trucks and trailers to service every need. We have lowboys from 35-55 ton along with landolls and box trailers to handle any job. Doug's also has added an Agriculture trailer to our fleet to assist our customers needing farm equipment hauled, such as combines, tractors, and more.
