I so badly want to love and use a small business neighborhood pharmacy. I’ve been trying to use them for a year, I’ve spoken to the manager twice, but their operations just don’t get better.
There are no auto refills - you have to call EVERY time. Then when you call for a refill, u still have to call each step of the way to actually receive your medication. Half the time they misplaced it, driver brings it to the wrong address, their supplier didn’t deliver the medication. They never contact me to tell me there’s an issue. The New Indian Pharmacist Owner of Grove Pharmacy for a few years now has no respect to his Pharmaceutical Obligations, and to the Oath that he took to take care of his customers!
He is A Disgrace for someone that carries a Pharmaceutical License!!!
Instead of taking care of decent sick people and maintaining the health of those that are on regular medications, giving everyone "poisonous" generic cheap medications filled with colouring and fillers that you will not even give to your animals!
In order to save a couple a dollars they keep changing the generics

My child got their ears pieced here. She got a helix piercing, which is a piercing at the cartilage part of your ear. We should have probably gone to a professional place, but I thought it would be better to go here, since she got her first piercing here. Anyway, she had gotten a piercing before, just not a cartilage one. They didn't give very good directions on the aftercare, because after doing some reaserch on the piercing, you actually are not supposed to twist the cartilage piercing. They never said anything about that. Luckly, she told me that her piercing was hurting when she was twisting

From day one the AMAZING staff was very helpful to quickly transfer all of my information from my previous pharmacy. They also were helpful explaining the costs of my medications and any questions I had. I will NEVER go to another pharmacy chain again and will continue to be a loyal customer. They have a great selection of necessities and other things to buy. Also, the delivery service is great and reliable. I just want to thank all staff for their continued excellent customer service and professionalism during the pandemic! (and every other day!)

I love Grove Pharmacy! They have a lot of different stuff you don’t see in other stores, the staff is friendly and very helpful. I am very disappointed though. I want to remind every customer to check your prescriptions before you leave. It is imperative!! I picked up my husbands medicine. When I got home he checked it and the medicine was completely wrong. If he didn’t pay attention and took the medicine, this could have been disastrous !

I've been a regular Grove customer for myself and my children for almost 15 years now. Grove is what a pharmacy should be -- and used to be before the chains took over. The staff members are consistently warm, personable, compassionate, and professional. Every visit has been a pleasant experience. I NEVER go anywhere else. I don't care how many CVS stores open up in my area. This is a family owned and operated business that cares about the community and actually tries to help people. The level of customer service they provide is rare and so precious to the people who feel like I do. Home delivery was a life-saver for me during a time when almost everyone in my house, (including me) was sick and the weather made it tough to get a script filled. Grove Pharmacy is such a great pharmacy with a personal touch that you do not always get with chain pharmacies. Went to Grove Pharmacy to purchase my ankle brace, after I sprained my ankle, the man who assisted me was so helpful, measured my ankle to ensure the size.
In addition, to being a pharmacy they have a great selection of other gifts, cards, medical supplies, cosmetics, journals etc.
When I was a kid they sold delicious peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies...

I wondered whether my very first Yelp review would be positive or negative. Well, this is it and it is wholeheartedly positive. It was accidental that I came to use this pharmacy. I normally fill my prescriptions at a chain store near my home. Grove Pharmacy staff gives you the personalized attention like "way back in the day". Employees are knowledgeable about their medical home products for post surgical patients and the elderly. After spraining my ankle, my orthopedist recommended me to get a walking boot. He sent us to Grove pharmacy. The assistant manager came over right away and assisted me in how to use and care for the boot. It was very busy from the store front to the pharmacy, but the customers were in and out with little to no wait times. They also have a candy and chocolate section in the back. This is a Pharmacy that has been in Montclair. For many years and you are sure to find what ever you are looking for they. They carry a lot of items that some Pharmacies do not have on there shelves or ever heard about some things you are specifically looking Grove Pharmacy. Will have it . And a nice gift shop to purchase from a candy selection of old school candies any kind of balloons for that special occasion. This drug store is a great place the pharmacy staff true care for all of there customers. They also sell amazing and beautiful gift items . I went to this pharmacy for years and years till I hade to move but on an occasion will still go in when I know I am in the area . After a disastrous experience at another pharmacy during the heigh of the January 2013 cold-flu-crud that hit just about everyone I called Grove Pharmacy. I spoke to a pharmacist about my order to make sure my OTC purchases would play nice with others. They led me in the right direction.
Since they have Mary Jane's at the candy counter I asked to include them in my order. Woo Hoo!
