Services
If you must (absolutely must) place a caller on hold first ask for their permission and give them a time frame. Be sure to thank them for this. Keeping someone on hold is not recommended and instead it is helpful to offer to return a call within a defined time frame. When someone is talking on the phone allow them to completely finish what they are saying, interruptions are NEVER necessary.
