Dr. Matt is originally from Russellville, Ar. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and attended dental school at the University of Kentucky. Upon receiving his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry, Dr. Matt served in the Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base as a general dentist.
He was awarded Air Force Global Strike Clinical Dentist of the Year and loved serving our great country's service members. Dr. Matt and his family moved to Buffalo, New York where he completed his residency in pediatric dentistry and was Chief Resident his second year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and has a specialty license to practice pediatric dentistry in Arkansas.

Services
It is no fun if your little one is in pain, so for dental emergencies, please contact our office. If your child has experienced head trauma or a life-threatening event, please call 911 or take your child to the nearest emergency room. Apply a cold compress to the areas that are bleeding. Motrin or Tylenol may be given to reduce pain and inflammation.
We accept a wide variety of dental insurance plans across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and accept CareCredit. Please contact our office if you have specific questions; we are happy to help! Pediatric dentists do a two-year residency working with other pediatric healthcare providers including pediatricians, ear nose and throat doctors, and anesthesiologists.

NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!!!
I was fired from working here but I understood the reason and did not hold it against Dr. Matt. There is only two pediatric dentists nearby so I brought my kids into the practice to get looked at. I was treated well while there although the wait was rather long. (I used to work there so I know it gets crazy sometimes) Dr. Matt seemed nice and respectful and even helpful. We were able to set up another appointment later in the year. Then I am served a verified letter stating that they are dropping my kids as patients. I understand not wanting me to work there. When a

I’ve taken my kids here for awhile. Really did love this place. But my daughter had an appointment and they sent me a reminder text to confirm the appointment. I was at work so couldn’t get to it at the time. 2 hours later I received a text canceling my appointment because I hadn’t responded. I called and they did offer another time for the appointment. I was at work though and don’t feel within a 2 hour window 2 days before her appointment is acceptable for canceling an appointment. Very disappointed because my kids were very comfortable with them. Very clean office, activities in the waiting room, TVs on the ceilings for kids to watch while getting cleanings and prizes after visit! They were so great with the kids! Such friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Dr. was very personable and the kids loved him! They keep asking when they get to go back lol!

This is really the best place for pediatric dentistry in all of NWA. I’ve been to others that felt like a money-grab, or that didn’t have kid shows/games, or that treated you like just another routine appointment in their day. We always feel special here, all the employees seem to really like kids, and the aesthetics are somehow fun and calming at the same time. Dr. Matt is always smiling and he seems very reasonable in his assessments and advice.

Truly a five-star experience for our little guy at Ozark Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Matt and his entire staff were exceptional from start to finish. This was our 2-year-old's first visit to the dentist and we were pretty apprehensive, but the clinic is designed to put your child at ease and the staff knows exactly how to handle tough situations. Loyal customers here for sure!
