Rev. Phil is amazing at his job. My wife and I were told about him through her mother and we called. Rev Phil got to know us thoroughly and put together a beautiful ceremony! Rev Phil was funny, professional, kind, and you could tell he cared. All our guest asked about him and told us how great the ceremony was. Phil made it extra special! by adding Filipino traditions (Veil, Cord and Coins) and Unity Sand, while explaining every single of it which my guests appreciated esp we both come from different background. Due to COVID-19, we had to reschedule our wedding from June 2020 to multiple different dates. We had booked Rev. Phil back in early 2020 and when we had to reschedule our wedding, he was super accommodating and great to work with! After extensive research we chose Phil to officiate our wedding. During COVID it was virtually impossible to get a time within two months at the Cook County court. Phil was very flexible and was able to officiate as soon as the following week. Hiring Rev. Phil was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We definitely spent more than we planned to but after seeing the amount of work that he does before the ceremony, it makes it all worth it. I have no idea how I would have been able to figure anything out without an officiant that did as much as he did. He was able to answer or steer us toward the answer to any of our questions including where to get a marriage license in the middle of this pandemic. Phil had with us, he also responded almost immediately to every email and text we had to get every detail our of ceremony perfect. We met with Rev. Phil and were blown away by the professionalism that he offered and showed, and the quality of the initial interview. We new instantly we wanted him to officiate our wedding. His price is on the upper tier, but you don't get this kind of service with anyone else. Paying a premium to have everything go right at the ceremony is acceptable to me. We had constant communication with Rev. Phil throughout the year long planning process. Trust me, weddings take a lot of planning and time. You can't do everything on a weekend 3 weeks out. Rev. Phil was great from start to finish and I would recommend him to anyone celebrating a wedding. His style was one of a kind and cannot be matched by anyone. We had numerous guests comment on how unique our ceremony was and that they had never seen anything like it. He really was detailed in all aspects of the ceremony and there was absolutely no confusion on how everything would be done. I would highly recommend Rev. Rev. Phil Landers was great! We thankfully found him through our banquet hall's preferred vendor list. We met with him and got the location of our meeting mixed up and he still gave us a 2nd chance! He also was ok with having our 4 year old daughter join and was so understanding and patient with us needing to entertain her. He was very professional and had a presentation to share with us.
