Carolyn started in the staffing industry nearly 30 years ago, as an employee with Key Resource Group. Within two years, she was managing the direct hire division and had founded and managed a legal placement division that is still, to this day, WNY's premier legal staffing service. Within 15 years she became a Partner with KRG, and in 2006 became the sole owner of Key Resource Group.

Ann at KRG reached out to me a few months ago regarding a legal secretary position in Rochester. I wasn't actively trying to leave my other job, but I was interested in getting back in my field after being laid off during the pandemic. I originally was unresponsive after I was sent the incorrect testing info, but Ann reached out to me once again to let me know the employer was still very interested in interviewing me. From beginning to end, Key Resource Group was incredible to work with. I applied online and within a few short days was contacted by one of the staffing managers, Ann Cardena. The entire process was quick yet thorough as Ann got to know me and truly learned what I was looking for in a career. I cant say enough good things about this place and Peggy Koch! I relocated back to WNY and applied for a job through KRG on Indeed. Within a day I was contacted by Peggy and we were able to meet two days later to discuss what I was looking for. She scheduled multiple interviews for me within hours of meeting that day and I was able to secure a job in less than a week of our first meeting. Peggy helped me secure an awesome job and provided me with guidance and support during the entire process. I had an amazing experience working with Peggy Koch at Key Resource Group. I signed up with Key Resource Group a year ago, to date I have received little contact from this agency. As a client of this agency I feel I was not valued, and no effort was made to find positions that I was interested in. When I did hear from a recruiter, I was told, that they would get back to me about possible positions and there was never any follow up. Whenever I see a job listed with Key Resource Group specifically, I avoid the positions because I do not trust the staff. My fiance had a similar experience with this agency.

I would suggest speaking with someone in person re: job interests rather than via email. I had sent an inquiry to a recruiter at KRS, it was just a simple question. Immediately, they wanted my resume but never answered my question. Beware of any organization that wants something from you but refuses to give you anything in return (such as a basic answer to a question).
