With these techniques, acupuncture needles are inserted in and/or around myofascial trigger points within muscles. The needles can help relieve pain by stimulating sensory nerves within injured tissues.

Dr Sherman made a huge difference for me with a serious injury, ultimately helping prevent the need for surgery. He's incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Absolutely a 5 star medical professional.

Over the years I've been in need of seeing a good chiropractor from time to time. As a person who plays sports and exercises regularly (3-5 time per week), I've had occasion to hurt myself or simply cause discomfort from poor practices. This last year, I hurt myself a couple of time playing ice hockey and came in (via a recommendation) to see Dr. Sherman.

I was very pleasantly surprised with his approach, his communication and his skill as a practitioner. Everything was always clearly communicating. All the options were presented at various times and he game me enough information, and

Dr Sherman is very knowledgeable! He explained everything and made me understand why I might be having pain. My hip is feeling more relaxed and pain has decreased after one session. Great doctor! Lyn in the front office was very nice too.

As a later-in-life athlete I found Dr. Sherman while seeking a solution that can keep me in my sport. In the last couple of years he has been a great help both in healing my catastrophic injuries as well as general maintenance. I have also had many similar positive reports from the many friends and colleagues I have referred to him. Highly recommended!

My experience from scheduling to final session was exemplary. Jessica is thoughtful and kind, and helped me feel comfortable from day one.
Dr. Sherman is awesome. I'm not a pro (or even semi-pro) athlete, but was referred by one of my friends who has completed a couple ironman competitions. She said he's the best in the business. I had to do more sessions than he initially thought, but man, my Achilles doesn't hurt anymore and I'm able to run further and faster than before my treatments (which wasn't even my goal-- I just waned the sometimes sharp/shooting, sometimes aching

Dr. Sherman is superb at what he does. If you are dealing with a physical injury, I would recommend Dr. Sherman with absolute confidence in his ability to heal. I suffered from a shoulder injury that was giving me constant pain. After visiting Dr. Sherman, my arm began to heal, and each time I returned it got a little better until it was completely healed. I felt no more pain from the injury whatsoever. He is dedicated to healing and giving the highest quality of care.

I concur with everything said in the other review. Dr. Sherman is a special and caring person. If he is not able to help you, he is honest and will tell you he is not able to help.

I've only had one session with Dr. Sherman but I feel 99% better already! I'm no Iron(wo)man by any means, but almost two weeks ago I injured myself at the gym and have been in pain ever since. A massage and multiple ice packs later and the pain is still lingering, so I talk to my personal trainer about solutions. She suggested Dr. Sherman and I set up an appointment for this morning (Nov 30). Dr. Sherman went through my written history with me and both talked to me about the injury and did a few tests to see how my muscles responded.
