Suburban Pharmacy was founded in 1952 by Meyer Ratner and has remained family owned and operated. Known statewide for our exceptional customer service and diverse product line, Suburban has become a household name and recommended by healthcare professionals throughout Connecticut. In 2005, we expanded our medication packaging services, creating a specialized packaging pharmacy called Suburban Pharmacy Long Term Care.
This system delivers all of your patients' medications sealed in unit-dose packages labeled with name, medication information, and dosage time printed clearly on each package. Suburban Pharmacy Long Term Care offers a variety of medication services to be used in a private residence. Medicine-on-Time is a customized pill cup that is expertly prepared by your pharmacist.
This area is designed to give you quick access to information and resources for Medical Professionals. Suburban offers convenient delivery throughout the state of Connecticut. Our drivers offer courteous and professional service. We can also provide home medical and incontinence products. Delivery is free with same day service.

Suburban Pharmacy Long-Term Care uses Medicine-On-Time packaging for many of our assisted living facilities. This system eliminates the time consuming process for nurses of pre-pouring medications for a resident. For our independent patients, this system eliminates the hassle of using common pill boxes.

Family members beware!...this long-term pharmacy charges patient medication copays monthly and are on automatic delivery, not every 90 days as when your loved one was home. OTC meds and supplies are ridiculously overpriced. Money making is their primary concern. Takes no responsibility to effectively communicate with assisted living facilities to make sure meds are needed, just delivers them the same day once a month ..waits for cancellation from long-term residency staff to stop order, or places onus of responsibility on family members to cancel or end relationship with their automatic delivery
