We hired these movers to move us a few blocks down with lots of heavy furniture and boxes. They were very efficient, quick, careful and professional. We moved from a 600 sq ft 3 bedroom (with stairs) to a much larger 3 bedroom and everything was moved in 3.5 hours. They made moving so much easier for us, it was worth every cent! The team was very friendly and made sure we had everything where we wanted it. We would definitely recommend them!

Mike and his team were outstanding. I moved from Seattle to Pullman in June 2021, and after getting 6 quotes, Mike gave me a great price—he was flexible and helped work within my budget. Not only that, his guys picked up all my stuff in less than an hour and dropped it off later that night.

10/10 would recommend! Incredibly professional, careful, and efficient. We had to reschedule because of the snow storm but the owner was responsive and very helpful. He cared about keeping everyone safe given the road conditions and I definitely appreciated that.

We used Budget Moving for the second time in 2 years. We think the price and service and easy communication is worth every penny.
They wore masks were fast and careful. The charges were about $600 for two men to move a one bedroom apt from Capital Hill to Eastlake.
Furniture was appropriately wrapped if needed. Respectful and efficient.
Would recommend them and use them again!

I dont recommend budget moving at all! they are super slow, talk with their phones for more than 30 mins and then talk with each other. Show up without mask and when I asked them, they said we dont need mask! they also damaged my property while moving furniture. Dont risk moving with Budget as you end up paying much more!!

Mike and his moving crew were referred to me to help with my mom's move from a Seattle area condo to an assisted living unit near Sacramento, CA. Skipping ahead to the actual move date, Jared and his moving partner got there earlier than expected (Mike had just returned from a long-distance move so had someone else do this one) and on their own put each furniture piece in its intended spot, set up the bed as requested and made the new smaller space as convenient to move around in as possible. Budget Moving did a great job moving us from Seattle to Bainbridge Island. Mike Tracey handled the planning and budget, meeting the agreed upon days and times and within the proposed cost. The move was complicated because it took place on two different days, involved multiple stops, and included ferry trips. Mike's team of Chris, Jerry, and Roger packed with care and with speed - a hard and rare combination in moving. There were a few family pieces that needed special attention, and they gave more than we asked.

Moving our son who has a disability from Ravenna to a new housing situation north of Seattle. Mike extremely helpful in setting things up by phone and always reachable whenever we called. Tim & Tito arrived on time, worked steadily and carefully and accommodated our requests for some special handling (eg. shrink wrapping) of certain items. This move involved picking up/delivering furniture to 3 locations: went off without a hitch. I would recommend to friends and neighbors and will make use of their services again when we need a mover.

I am of two minds with this experience. Today is moving day (as I type this). They were super quick and friendly which was great - but they damaged 4 of my 6 book cases. I have dark colored wood cases which now have giant long exposed white wood scratches and they are REALLY hard to hide since they are on the both sides of most of the shelves. I take really good care of my stuff and half of them were new in the place I just moved out of so I know for a fact the scratches are not from a previous move.

Mike and his team were fantastic on my recent move. The team was there on time, communicative, and hard working. They worked efficiently and quickly, and the job was done with no issues whatsoever. Pricing was clear and definitely a great value. We had placed some clothes and other items in garbage bags, and they even had additional boxes and items to make sure that these items were packed efficiently, even if we didn't. If we need to move again, I would definitely use Budget Moving.

Mike and his crew have personally moved us 7 times, since 2006. We usually pack up most of our items in boxes/totes ourselves, but I understand they do offer a packing service. Every single move has been seamless and efficient. I know this may sound like a hype review, but truly I've never had issues. I'm a Realtor, and I've also recommended them to clients for moves, never a problem. That's the way a move should be, no issues, as there's certainly enough stress! I used Budget Moving to move from a ground floor condo in Seattle to a nearby condo in a mid rise condo. I highly recommend them! They showed up on time and worked at a fast pace. They were careful with my furniture and boxes, no damage incurred from the packing/moving process! They brought and used furniture pads, extra boxes and packing material, and were very friendly and professional. Mike, the owner, came to meet with me for the estimate. He sat down and explained the process, how his team works and gave me recommendations for certain pieces of furniture we had. I found out about Mike and Budget Moving when I was helping another friend. These guys are very efficient and great value for the money. I used them today and could not believe how fast they were going. They come with full supplies and are ready to go. They have everything you will need to make the move happen so no need to pay extra for anything. I will use them as much as I can. They book up pretty fast, so plan accordingly.
