The best location. Ludington Beach House is the closest motel (across the street) to Ludington's Stearns Park and its award winning Lake Michigan Sugar Sand Beach, Park, North Pier, and Lighthouse. Ludington Beach House is only 5 short blocks to beautiful downtown Ludington, full of shops, restaurants, frozen yogurt and ice cream parlors, grocery store, and art galleries.
1. Ludington Beach House is the closest lodging to Ludington's Lake Michigan sugar sand beaches, North Breakwall Lighthouse, and amazing sunsets. Located directly across Lakeshore Drive from Ludington City Beach, voted one of the best beaches. 2. This classic 1950's motel had extensive renovations and upgrades in the winter of 2017.

Great value and location! We loved our stay at the Ludington Beach House. This '50s drive up motel has been completely updated to feel like a beach bungalow. We stayed in a two room unit and felt like we had a small beach side apartment. The rooms were sparkling clean and the hosts were very accommodating. You are literally across the street from the beach and a short walk to downtown shops. Rooms have a mini fridge w/freezer, coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer, clothesline in the showers for your suits to dry, wifi, spectrum cable on flat screen tvs, comfy mattress, small table for eating or

Ludington Beach House property is nice, but plenty to be wary about. We rented in October, 2021 and found the owners to be non-existent and unresponsive. They would not even return our phone calls requesting the Wifi password. We tracked down a maintenance person and a laundry person who provided us with a book we were supposed to have had which provided some information.
There was a big mirror laying against a wall in one of the bedrooms that had apparently fallen off the wall without anybody fixing it. The lighting in one of the three bedrooms in the penthouse was connected to the television

A great public beach. One of the finest that I have been to, and that's a few lol. Safety is first and foremost as well here in regard to closing the pier when conditions merit it. The Beach House is a great stop for ice cream. The City of Ludington can take pride in this jewel. As one might expect, however, when I was there every parking spot beach side was filled. That alone tells the tale! Highly recommended.

I really like this place. Location and cleanliness of it. Ease of reserving, checking in and out and communicating via email and text all were super convenient. Loved having a small fridge and coffee pot. Beautiful view if you choose beach side as well. There is a skate park right across the street, but we had no noise issues or inconveniences. Quick walk to the beach or a longer walk to James St where all the bars/restaurants are. Lots of parking available as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend!

Talk about amazing! The rooms here are perfect and clean. Nothing over the top fancy, but perfect for a family. The pool is heated and very clean, we could swim even in September. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had a nice shower. No complaints here! The absolute best part was the short walk to the beach! We have two kids, so walking to the beach is usually a hassle. It’s amazing to be so close! It’s seriously a three minute walk max. Highly recommended!

The Ludington Beach House was a wonderful place to stay! We stayed in a unit that had a full queen bed and a bathroom and the joining room had a sleeper couch and another bathroom. This was the perfect amount of space for our family of 4! The rooms were spacious, clean and well stocked with all that we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, usually available for most of the day. The pool was heated, private, and clean! The location was fantastic- the beach, mini golf, museum and downtown was all a quick walk from the beach house. They even had yard games, which we spent time playing. I definitely

FANTASTIC place to stay in Ludington at a great price. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, and it had a little living area and a fridge and microwave and two bathrooms with showers. Very clean, friendly staff, and very easy to book, check in and check out.
The heated pool was great, and the proximity to the beach was awesome!
My only advice is to bring a sleep-mask if you stay in the lake-facing side... the lights from the road and park across the street are bright and are on 24/7. But don't let that deter you from this place, I'm just a man-diva.
5/5 would stay again.

Loved the retro vibe of this old school renovated charming lakeside hotel. The location was excellent - steps from the beach (a quick 5 minute walk) and they took a lot of care with the grounds and cleanliness of the rooms. The beds were beyond comfortable and the staff seemed very nice. We were only here for one night but I can’t wait to go back next year for a longer visit!
