Growing up as the youngest of four siblings, CJ learned the importance of understanding different perspectives at a very young age. He was born to a strong-willed father and a mother who led with patience over bravado, a combination that taught him to move with his heart and treat people with respect.
Kris was introduced to DJing at a 2005 battle in Chicago. From that event, he met CJ Buckets, a Chicago-based DJ and friend of his older brother Jon. A friendship developed from their mutual love for 90s hip-hop and house, though neither was the catalyst for Kris's eventual career in music.
In 2013, Kris earned a Business Management degree from DePaul University, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, and quickly took an IT sales job that was both lucrative and secure.However, one year later he attended Spring Awakening Music Festival and left Soldier Field inspired to become a DJ.

Is there somewhere to put more than 5 stars? Not having a coordinator for our wedding was a huge risk that we took, but despite this our wedding turned out AMAZING thanks to Best Life Entertainment. They were so helpful throughout the entire process and even provided us with various pointers for our wedding, based on their previous experiences. Our dance floor was always packed, people were singing all night and made our night so memorable. I can't even tell you how many compliments we got from all of our guests, about how amazing Best Life Entertainment was. No one wanted to leave the venue once

We have worked with CJ and Kristian for the past 4 years, and their work has been nothing but excellent. They have mixed songs together for our pom squad routine, and each year the mix is flawless. They are quick to respond and so easy to work with. We look forward to working with them each year!! :)

We used CJ as the DJ and MC during our grand opening of our Pizza store. He took the time out to visit prior to the opening date to check out the location, so he would be prepared. Opening day, he showed up prompt to set up, and was jamming out the place. Did we mention incredible music set? We would highly recommend CJ and his company for any of your music/DJ needs. He is extremely professional and is knowledgeable in this field. He has a great read of people and what they want and delivers. A extra bonus for us..... he showed up with turn tables!!! enough said.... Thanks CJ!!!

We hired DJ CJ for our annual block party and he completely rocked it! He played music that connected to everyone it all flowed through the night. The sound system and lighting was amazing, it was clear and loud for the whole block to enjoy. I've also taken scratch lessons from DJ CJ and he's been a great teacher! Explains things and communicates well, and breaks it down in a way that isn't too overwhelming.

We hired Kristian of Best Life Entertainment for our holiday party and he was incredible! We discovered Kristian through friends that saw him DJ with his dj group, Brvthers Keeper, at the North Coast Music Festival. Kristian was a very skilled DJ and it was a pleasure working with his team. I highly recommend Best Life Entertainment for company celebrations!

Absolutely wonderful service. I used them for my wife’s 40th Birthday Party. We rented a room at Whirlyball in Vernon Hills. I was nervous about managing the guest playing Whirlyball and taking care of the guests that were not playing. Best Life put my worries at ease. The guests not playing Whirlyball had nonstop entertainment and when a new group was ready to go onto the court they were able to gather everyone quickly to maximize our court time. We were having so much fun we wanted to keep the party going and they accommodated my request. I recommend and would use them again without any hesitation
