Services
She completed her Doctorate of Optometry in Memphis, TN at the Southern College of Optometry. Following graduation, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery at Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta where she was able to expand her knowledge of ocular diseases and management of ocular surgeries, including LASIK, PRK, and cataract surgery.
In order to ensure a smooth visit, we like to verify your insurance benefits several days in advance. After your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a text or email asking for your insurance information. It is very helpful when this is completed at least 24 hours in advance. If you have specific questions, please contact us and we will do our best to help provide you with the answers you need.
Care Assistance Membership Program (C.A.M.P.) is a membership program that provides discounts on products & services, priority appointment times, and more. C.A.M.P. was designed with you in mind. Because insurance companies are limiting what we can offer you, we have restructured our agreements with some plans.
If you are not satisfied with your lenses, within 60 days of your purchase, we will remake the lenses one time at no charge. If you still cannot adapt to your specialty lens after the no charge replacement, we will determine the next best steps for you. If you decide that you are not satisfied with your new frames for any reason, we will exchange them for any other frame.
Selecting your lenses and frame is a more personalized experience than ever before. A wide variety of options are available that can be tailored to suit not only your medical needs or specific activities, but also your fashion preferences. Change your look, play with color, or customize your vision for different functions such as reading, driving and playing sports.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I was seen as soon as possible even though I arrived late and saw the next available optometrist though she was not the one I had an appointment with. I saw Dr. Goad and liked her very much. Her exam was complete and thorough. Her explanations were also spot on.

Although it took a while to get the appointment, the staff was very professional and friendly. They had a decent selection of glasses, and I found a pair that I really like. It took about a week for them to come in after the examination, which was quicker than one of the internet sites that I used to get a back-up pair. I had an issue with the glasses which was not their fault but more of a manufacturer defect, and they got me a new pair no problem. When my order came in, I got a text to let me know. I honistly have nothing bad to say about this place. It was an excellent experience start to finish

I've been going to West Georgia Eye Care for several years. I live about an hour away so I decided to try someone closer home. It did not compare. I'm looking forward to returning back to WGEC. I have the beginning signs of Macular Degeneration. It was found by Dr. Carter with the high tech machine that is used. I had the DNA test done to show that is in fact what he saw. The other location did not even notice it with just dilating my eyes! Yes, this place may be a little pricy, but you get what you pay for. There are no hidden fees. Everything is given to you in a pamphlet, filled in

They are so great! From the front desk is very nice. Then Abby took great care of me, taking a lot of time with me and she's very personable. Dr. Carter was great with my issues, contacts, and just taking care of the health of my eyes and spending time with me. They're all great at taking time with patients. I had a wonderful experience
