I am based out of Woodbridge, Virginia, and photograph families throughout Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland. When I am not working you can find me spending time with my two boys Brayden and Landon, or enjoying a great cup of coffee with friends. We love to travel and if my plate wasn't full enough, I also design newborn photography props collaborating with photographers worldwide.

I fell in love with newborn photography after my second son was born at 25 weeks in Fairfax Hospital. I felt documenting his first 12 weeks in the NICU was so important, I didn't want to forget anything, I needed to capture his life and I used photographs to tell his story. Without them I couldn't describe his story the same way as I remember it.
Do you have a studio? Yes, my studio is located in the heart of Historic Occoquan, Neighboring to the right of Madigan's Waterfront Restaurant in the River Walk Shops. Located on the second floor. Coffee shops, restaurants, antiques, boutiques etc. all within walking distance. Where do sessions take place?

I did maternity photos and we had so much fun! She was so nice and patient with me and my baby. My child is 11 months so he’s all over the place wanting to touch everything and climb on me but she handled it like a pro!!! I would 100% recommend her! We did so many poses and many outfits I seriously can’t wait to see the photos. We go back to do newborn photos and I’m already so excited to work with her again! In the beginning I wasn’t sure what photo package I wanted so she gave me a call and texted me through it all. Like I said I HIGHLY recommend Norma💜

Ahhh! Norma is absolutely amazing! We had a last minute issue arise with our original photographer and Norma was able to come in to save the day! She is so talented and patient. Our baby just would not settle that day and Norma was so patient and gentle working with her and us to capture those precious moments. She has so much talent and not to mention that her studio is filled (!!) with different props, outfits, headbands galore. So lucky we were able to have Norma capture those first moments for us!

I cannot say how THANKFUL enough we are for how absolutely wonderful our newborn photo shoot was with Norma! Honestly, it was such a blessing to our family. We’ve never had a professional photo shoot and both me and my husband kept talking after about how comfortable and good we felt about the day. My Dad is a photog but he does mainly landscape and sports….he will indulge me if I ask for portraits and they’re always great BUT it is a completely different experience than what we had with Norma :) I was stressing a bit the week before our shoot thinking my daughter would be cranky or need

My husband and I picked Norma to do our newborn session with our baby girl, and we seriously could not have had a better experience. First, Norma is a true professional and exceptionally skilled at what she does. Watching her work with our baby was magical, the poses, the props, the soothing, everything. In fact, my husband and I picked up a couple soothing techniques that we're using at home now! Norma was so easy and fun to work with, and she made us feel so comfortable in her studio. And of course, our baby too, who was so peaceful while in Normas hands. The studio itself is absolutely beautiful

Thank you so much! I loved looking at them. It might be crazy but I think my top favorite is the one of just my son smiling. It is so hard to get a good picture of him at his age because he doesnt stop moving, but you captured him smiling through his eyes. I'm literally tearing up as I write this because I love it so much. Thank you so much for capturing these moments.

Norma has done newborn, milestone, and family portraits for my family and they are always amazing! Her ability to connect with my kids makes for a super fun session and even my husband enjoyed our time with her. I will continue to bring my family to her again and again knowing without a doubt that we will absolutely love the results!
