Miller's Septic Service, Inc. was founded in 1973 by Mr. James Lee Miller, Sr. ("Lee") and his wife Mrs. Mary M. Miller in Gloucester, Virginia. At the time of his retirement from the Naval Weapons Station, the late Mr. Miller sought to establish a company that would serve his friends and neighbors and continue to provide a living for his own family.
The company was initially designed to perform septic system pumping and disposal services for residential and commercial customers on the Middle Peninsula of Virginia. As President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Vice President respectively, and with the help of his granddaughter, Ashley Miller as General Manager, the company remains family owned and operated today.

Justin and crew were awesome. They replaced 3 electrical panels in a little less than a day and everything works great. They have to return to replace one more panel in my pump house since they had to order a part. But no problem as they can return when the part comes in and install the part even if I'm not home as they gave access to the pump house. Great crew. Highly recommend!

Cord and Gary were wonderful! They found my problem and unclogged the line that was preventing the flow. They were prompt, knowledgeable and thorough! They were great at explaining my options. Will leave you yard in horrible conditions after septic work. Also paid for a new HVAC as my system was old. Would only cool 10 degrees below outside temp. New unit would only cool 9-10 degrees and they refuse to come up with a solution or compensate me. Now i've spent $7k on a new unit that functions the exact same as the 19 year old one. Also they are famous for leaving your crawlspace open.

I live out of town so it is a little hard to schedule services at the southern tip of Lancaster County. Miller said it wouln't be a problem. They had great customer service, sent an email when he was coming. Jake came on site and did a great job, even offered to do a soil evaluation for a new septic area once we figured out that we will need to do more work. He also had nothing but good things to say about company. I would definitely use again!

I am not in the habit of publicly criticizing local businesses, but this is an exception. The one star is for the nice plumbers who came to my home. The lack of four more is for the business owners. In short, they charged me $299 to clean my shower drain (it took 15 minutes) plus another $49 service fee. They were here for about 2 hours checking out some other issues, id'd a part that was needed and said that they would get their parts person to locate it and get back to me. Several weeks and 2 unreturned calls later, nothing. I'll never call them again.

Called Miller's to make an appointment to get the septic pumped. The lady that answered the phone was very helpful and courteous. Got the appointment for the following week. Richard came out and was awesome. It was very hot out in the sun, and he was very patient and answered all my silly questions and also recommended some things to do (and not do). I will call back if/when I need other services.

Unfortunately after years of loyal service they have disappointed us. We have always used them. Prior to the appointment I spoke to the technician and asked him to call if there were ant issues. This was a typical inspection for the sale our a house. They never called and the inspection came back stating that they could not find the drain field. They never called to check in which is disappointing since I could have pointed them to the drain field. When I called for an explanation the person made excuses for the technician and said they spent 30 minutes over their typical time. If you used the
