We believe that the most important service we can provide our patients is to help them create a Dental Health Plan. A Dental Health Plan is a document developed by the patient and Dr. Newman to guide the direction of the patients treatment toward achieving dental health. We find that people spend less time and money on dentistry when they have a Dental Health Plan to guide treatment.
We provide exceptional preventative care, including exams, cleanings and digital x-rays. Early detection of dental problems is essential to gain optimal oral health. The American Dental Association recommends that all patients schedule six-month dental check-up exams.
According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, your child should visit the dentist within six months after the presence of the first tooth or by his or her first birthday.Early oral examination aids in the detection of the early stages of tooth decay. When Dr. Christopher Newman was 10 years old, he fell and broke his front two teeth. He feared that he would have to go the rest of his life with broken front teeth. best Cleaning I've had in a long time. Very memorable. I love my smile a little more now and very impress with the services Hygienist Marina provided. Dr. Newman is a great provider as well. Personable, Chill and welcoming office environment.

I just started going to Columbia Smile Center a few months ago after being referred by my mother. I LOVE it! The staff is very friendly and very respectful of your time. Each time I have been in the office, I have not had to wait for more than 5 minutes before being called back. The dental hygienist who did my cleaning was so friendly and really took the time to establish a rapport with me before cleaning my teeth. I have had nothing but positive experiences so far and I don't regret changing to this office one bit!

I’m a new patient & my experience was nothing short of amazing! The online paperwork was quick and easy. As soon as I arrived for my appointment the staff was ready for me. Throughout the entire process the staff made sure to inform me before making any moves to ensure I knew what to expect. The staff were prepared for any and all questions that I may have had. I would definitely recommend Columbia Smile Center!

I always recommend my friends and family to Dr. Newman! I absolutely LOVE that we can make appointments via email now. Everyone is so nice and friendly and this has been the case since I started going to this practice in 1996. My husband has been going to this practice since 1976 and we wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. It is worth the drive from Lexington!

The first time I went for a cleaning, the dental tech was out sick and I was blessed to have Dr. Newman clean my teeth. I'm not a big fan the dentist, but this was THE BEST AND PAIN-FREE dental experience I've ever had! Dr. Newman was so gentle, very nice, and extremely thorough! I know it's unlikely that he will clean my teeth again, but if Dr. Newman trains his staff the way he was trained, I will definitely be back!

The problem I have is with a card that was placed in my goody bag at the end of the visit. The card was to remind me to give them a 5-star review, for which I would be entered into a drawing for a free teeth whitening (see picture). To me, the card reads
