Whitehurst Powell was the best. I thought having to plan a funeral for the first time and having to do it from another state would be a true nightmare. Andy and his staff made it as simple as possible. My father passed in February and five weeks later my mother passed. Whitehurst Powell coordinated transportation with the funeral home in Georgia. We were able to handle everything over the phone and with one short meeting when we all arrived in Crestview. Daddy had a Military funeral and all the details were taken care of. I highly recommend Whitehurst Powell funeral home to anyone needing help with the final preperations of the loss of a loved one. Andy and the entire staff treated my sister and I with the utmost respect and made us feel like family. They all were very helpful through every step of the process. They did everything in their power to ensure that every request we made was met. Andy was definitely a God send to my sister and I. He was even able to put a smile back on our faces a time or two during so much sadness. To me that speaks volumes.

Our family has always used Whitehurst- Powell Funeral Home for funerals. They are so caring and considerate of the grieving family and so helpful and patient! We lost our Mother in January. Everyone was so helpful with honoring our Mom. They help with all the big and the little things ensuring nothing is forgotten. Whitehurst Powell was amazing helping with finishing up my parents' arrangements, both of which have died in less than 15 months from one another. Andy's helped my husband and I, as well as my sister, with our future arrangements. Andy and his team at Whitehurst Powell were absolutely amazing throughout such a tough time my family and I went through with loosing my mom to cancer. They were there 24/7 to answer any questions we had, they made this process easy and took care of everything but most importantly they really make you feel comfortable and truly care about your family and about the loved one you’ve lost.
